When the set up was on my car, with an o2 simulator, it would still throw the Sel light. I tryed the non-foulers months ago, still SEL.
In fact the non foulers are still in Brian's test pipes!

Ya, its only thrown with the UTEC installed so far as I can see. Bill wasnt all that sure its related to UTEC but im 100% postive. Its nothing bad just sort of annoying. Hopefully will find a solution soon. Sorry for stealing the thread, back on subjet, nice dyno run!

So I pulled the code today after going and buying a scanner. It was the P1444 code just like you thought Spivey. I just erased it but I bet it com,es back the next time I drive it.

Heh, shocker! Yep yep we all have it. I guess one day ill get a scan tool to be able to clear it more often. What a pain. Anyone want to start calling bill every hour till he finds a solution? I think if we all just start calling him enough he will start working harder to find the fix. And make sure to tell him that its not because of the recall. I had that done and it didnt solve the problem.

I don't suppose anyone has heard back from TurboXS about the P1444 issue? I offered a number of times to run tests to see what it was, and how to fix it, but they never got back to me.

Anyone have any luck fixing this at all (short of resetting the SES light on a daily basis?

Well Dave, I have talked to Eric at Boulder Nissan about this because i hate that SES light! What he would like to do is find the pin that that sensor uses and wire it out of the Utec, ex. instead of it going into the Utec, it simply bridges the gap and would be just like the Utec was never there. He thinks that because it goes through the Utec it changes the voltage or something and throws the code. The Utec simply runs this wire straight through also so the Utec never messes with it other then possibly changing the voltage. I'd call Eric at Boulder, he's looking for a guinea pig to try this on.

Any of you guys ever fix the 1283/1274 codes?
I just found this thread doing a search. I've had the codes for 3 years now with the TN kit. Need to get rid of it to pass emissions ASAP

Yep, solution is to unplug the utec, no one i have talked to has found anyway of clearing and keeping it gone, less you wanna just clear it right when you hit the service center and pray it doesnt come back on for them...

If you have the TN reflash, just remove the UTEC and go for your emssions.
