I am getting there as soon as it opens!
I live a mile from there so a caravan wouldn't really work for me.
If it's anything like normal test and tune, I,m gonna get inside and go straight to racing. After 3 or 4 runs I will head to the Boulder Nissan tent.
Mudd will this be like any other T&T Wednesday?

Well I'll run through what I think I know, but since I've only ever been a spectator I could be way off base. I plan to remove any weight I can from the car, sub box, spare tire and run less than a half tank of gas. Since we're up so high, there isn't any way I'd break 13.99 with a stock Z so I won't need a helmet, right?

I didn't see any fee's for the tech inspection on the Bandimere site for a test and tune day, so really all I'd need is the $85 for the day and that should be cash? I plan to have the doc filled out before I show up, anything else? Anything I should say or do with the tech guys to not look like a complete moron?

For the racing itself, its pretty much just get in line and go when your told or do they break it up by fast v slow cars? There is someone at the end that gives you a timeslip, where are they located?

Will they have food vendors there? I can pack a lunch if forced but I'm lazy.

Sorry for all the questions but thinking of this stuff is better than listening to this conference call...

1. you dont need a helmet
2. no extra fee for tech, just 85 cash to get in.
3. Fill out slip (they give you this at entrance) and then go to tech lanes.
4. Racing is any car heads up, some drag cars getting licensed will run alone.
5. There is food there but it is expensive.
6. Leave on the last yellow, not on the green.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

p.s i work 9-6 thursday, but im off friday if you wanna do that exhaust.

I think Andrew pretty well summed it all up. You can pay by cash, check or CC if you so choose.

You can unload your items at a spot in the pit of you would like, or you can just leave it at home, it's up to you.

In tech, just get in line and they will come to you. If they ask questions just answer them. It's really quite easy and painless. If your car is stock and nothing is broken you will have no troubles passing. Almost all cars are equipped from the factory with everything you need. If you are F/I then this is a different story but I don't think you are...............yet.

You will fill out a tech card PRIOR to going to the tech lanes. Bring a pen, it's easier that way.

Let me know anything else, I am off to try and get this pig to pass emissions since I have suddenly been told I need an emissions test to get plates. Something I would have known had the county sent me a renewal card. I now have 10 days to get it to pass, I am thinking it will fail with these test pipes and everything else.

There will be no charge for the BBQ, just the entry fee and your car are all you need

Went for drive this morning, slowed down at a speed bump pushed the clutch in and pop, it went to the floor! I reached down and pulled it up and pushed it down again, right to the floor. No more clutch!!
I found out that the line off the slave had bolwn off the fitting.
I pushed the clutch to the floor and started it in first gear.....slip shifted it back home, had to run a red light, and pull x2 illlegal U turns in traffic, but made it home.
Called Tuneing Factory, and have a new stainless steel one overnighted, it will be here on tue. by 4:30p. I'll put it in and be ready for Wed. track.
This would have sucked to have this happen on Wed.!!! Glad this was all it was.

I think the ApexMonster is gonna eat more than a clutch line! I freaked when I got to your house and Shan said "Kevin's car broke down" I pictured a piston being launched thru the fender!!! I guess the Apex part of the car is studier than the Nissan part! LOL!

I think there's like 8 of us going for the whole day.
P.S. Kevin, I shot a PM to Miaplaya about the new wastegate spring waiting to hear back. I would hate for the new spring to be cracking sooner than the last one, I wanna smoke me some Honda's!!!

I hope I will be there. I think all is ok, but today when I went toi tighten up the belt I gave the 12mm adjustment bolt about a 1/4 turn and the bolt sheared off it's head. Not sure what to do now.

Good news, belt is still tight, so I just tighten back up the idler pulley, flogged the car around a bit and she is still tight.

I guess I will be ok. It just looks like the threads were messed up on this bolt from the get go, not sure if it was from install or what.
