The high mile Z from the mile high
97,325 miles and counting on this 350Z TT that I purchased from JustinZ.
I got to run the Z yesterday at the USP event in the sport compact heads up class. The setup on this Z is
Greddy TT 10.5PSI around 500whp corrected.
Nismo cams
Modified intake plenum
CJM fuel system
Nismo clutch
turboxs Utec
Esplier springs
factory LSD
stock bottom end
and the high mileage mod
Location Denver, CO. Bandimere speedway higher than 5800ft above sea level.
Track temp 107 degrees
Total cars in the class was 11 cars
12.5@107 2.0 60ft bogged off the line couldnt get into 5th gear qualifier #3
12.2@111 1.9 60ft bogged again #4
11.86@117 1.78 60ft #3
11.81@118 1.72 60ft #3
11.9@118 1.76 60ft in this run I had to go up against a 10sec civic race car which placed first, I ended up placing 3rd and a check in the mail. I was running the Mickey Thompson Street radials 275/40 17.
I will post videos and pictures soon. I got some incar video too. The car was driven to the track and driven home.

Yeah...I don't know why I am so afraid to run over 9.5 lbs of boost. I have seen sooo many pix in the F.I. forums of bent connecting rods with the Turbonetics kit on stock internals. HELP ME GET OVER THIS!!!!!

What I was worried about the most is snapping a axle on the launch. The car weighed in at 3420lbs with me in it, I left everything in the car the way I drive it every day
Did you get much wheel spin or wheel hop when you were launching like that? If you didn't I need to rent those tires from you to see how I like them. That would be the set up right there if you weren't getting any wheeel hop.

A/F ratio has to be correct and the correct amount of ignition timing plays a factor also. Recommend using colder plugs. Its not just a matter of turning a **** to get more boost then it will go kaboom.
