Hey, a friend of mine is looking at moving to Vegas, what is a good area? North East? If any of you know of any apartments that accept dogs, and is located in a good neighborhood/area, please recommend the place. Thanks.

Northeast, northwest, henderson, southern highlands, ect.

There are a ton of good areas and a ton of bad areas. It'd be best for your friend to come out and take a quick peek of the different areas. A lot of Apt complexes are dog friendly, I believe you just need a slightly larger deposit and a small added animal rent. Finding a place in Vegas in a short time isn't all that hard.

I agree with istan. Lots of places to choose from and I have only one piece of advice. Consider where you will be working before making a decision. Traffic is generally horrible here with the worst drivers I have ever been around.

Thanks guys. He's about my height(so he says he's going to try to work Security somewhere) and wants to get into Real Estate as well/go to a Community College. Most of the apartments he's looked at so far are in the NorthEast area, and go for about $740-$825, and his father is going to hook him up with like $700 every month anyways so he thinks he'll be living large.

I'm paying $900 for a rather large two bedroom in Henderson.

Just make sure he sees the area(at night as well) before he signs.

Are you going to be around Vegas, in mid-July or so?
