I've never came across a more caring bunch of internet users than I did at my350z...
Last week I posted that I had an accident while on a cross country road trip. Long story short, my g/f was driving and ran over a fallen rock from the mountains in CO. The wheel was punctured from the rock and as a result, it left us stranded. I threw on the spare and made it across to the town of Glenwood Springs, CO. After I posted what happened via my PDA phone, I must have received at least 10 calls from users from this site.
I ended up driving back to Denver to buy a wheel from a guy named Travis. He gets a ton of respect points for waiting around for me when Im sure he was a busy guy. The next step was finding a tire. I had no clue that our rear tires were "rare" because no shops had them. Finally some dump in Denver called Peerless Tires said that they could get the tire in 2 hours.
We waited at that place for almost 4 hours without a tire. Finally I got pissed and called Discount Tire and they said they'd have the tire in 30 min. So I drove over there and they put it on and we managed to start our vacation.
I thank all the guys who cared enough to give me a call and point me in a direction to go. The last thing I wanted to do was pay up the butt for a wheel from a Nissan dealership. We spent one day in Glenwood Springs because nothing was open on Sunday, so we just walked around the town. We tried out that hot spring...that was definitly pretty cool and a nice stress reliever.

WOW, I was in glenwood springs at the same time as you coming back from my honeymoon on sunday!! Had I known I would have stopped to help you out. Glad you got it all worked out though! (year the rear tire size is a little abnormal, and the dealer wheels are VERY expensive, so you got away well!) Funny thing is that you were on your way out to cali and we were on our way back.

Glad to hear that things worked out! It's good to know that there's a good community of Z enthusiasts in Colorado (and elsewhere) that can help out when the unexpected happens.
