Default Expressing Myself...

***OK, First for the My350Z members. This is more aimed towards a Colorado based Z/G forum, MHZ. However its been brought to my attention that I should place this in the South-West section of My350Z for more Colorado members to read. Thanks. ***

I want to get some stuff off my chest and mind. This is not a personal attack towards anyone but like to clear some things up.

First... I have no battles, dislikes, hates, or anything towards anyone. I try my best when I'm home to gather different people from different areas and backgrounds for meets & cruises. Will everyone get along? No. That is life. No one is perfect and not everyone is going to agree with the next person. Hopefully though we can look past someone's faults and avoid conflicts.

Second... I'd really like for the "MHZ Drama" to end. I honestly think MHZ can become a very large Colorado Based 350Z/G35 Car Club. Sadly since it is SO new there are going to be conflicts and bumps in the road. But as long as everyone that believes MHZ can become bigger sticks together, it will be. James & I have talked, argued, disagreed and agreed. We called each other names, dropped F-bombs, yelled and such. But we both believe that MHZ can become big. Good example is the upcoming NOPI Show. I wish I could attend but I can't. But look how many Z/G cars representing MHZ will be attending!!! MHZ will most likely get national attention via Speed Channel's NOPI TunerVision show.

Also... I've been seeing posts and hearing that some people think that if you don't do the same mods, use the same parts, go to the same shop that I use or do, that I won't like you or I will think you're an idiot. This can not be more UNTRUE!!! I feel I give a bias opinion to members seeking advice about their cars. I've recommended parts and shops that I don't use cause I feel that they will benefit from it. I've recommended the various F/I & N/A options to members, I've recommended various amounts of exhaust systems, suspension set-ups, and even told members to contact certain members for a better opinion or knowledge on the subject in question. Now if I don't think someone will benefit from a part I will share my opinion. That is what a car forum is. People sharing their opinions. Will someone disagreeing with another stop them from making the purchase? Who knows other than the person spending their money. They know what they want for their car and will get whatever they want.

There is only one thing I push to MHZ and Colorado Z/G owners, David's HPD class. Its cause I feel that EVERYONE can benefit from it. Its not just about road racing. He truly teaches how to become a safer & better driver. I can almost bet that everyone that has attended his class can vouch that they are a safer & better driver from attending it.

Now I've been getting some crap about having my JWT Build thread. Please understand that I am in the Middle East with nothing to do. And yes that includes at work. Perks of the job I guess. Anyhow, that thread started for me to gain more knowledge of what I needed to complete a twin turbo build. And instead of me making a new thread for every part that came in I just continued with one thread. I feel that most people get excited when a new mod or part comes in and they want to share it. And my JWT Build thread is just one on-going excited part sharing thread. Some might not agree with the thread, some might find it annoying and some might find it pointless. So be it... Its there and you have the option to open and read it, make a RELATIVE post, or ignore it. Believe it or not, as much as I post *****, there are countless threads I read and move on. However I do like to congratulate someone when they receive a new part.

Since we're on the topic of my JWT Build. I feel that not everyone understands why I had my intercooler coated. There are two main reasons;

1) SwainTech's BBE coating pulls heat out of the intercooler. One might argue that the IC won't even get that hot. Maybe you're right, maybe you're not. Maybe you forgot that I am moving to Houston Texas this summer were temps reach 100*+ very offten. So having any amount of cooler air will help.
For parts where you want to get heat out of a part instead of holding it in a part, our BBE coating is applied to help pull heat out of base metal. BBE is commonly used on intercoolers, air cooled cylinders, air cooled heads and brake calipers. Though the primary purpose of the coating is to improve cooling, the coating does offer a durable semi-gloss black finish.
Visit; http://www.swaintech.com/store.asp?pid=10296 You can see Swain Tech offers various types of coating for all type of engine parts.

2) I don't want a bright silver fmic showing behind my black grille. That is MY reasoning. I don't care if someone else cuts their grille and shows off their FMIC. That is their car. However I don't want to show mine.

I think this "MHZ Drama" started when I expressed my opinion about a pervious MHZ member. I said what I said and won't go back on it. However I'd like for everyone to move on from it if that haven't already. James express what needed to be said after that event. That is the end of that subject.

All-in-all... Lets all end the drama and have a GREAT 2008 MHZ spring & summer full of meets, cruises, and ALL forms of track racing events!!!
