Default New Audio/Video/Nav...

Well I'm replacing my Bose stereo. I've already received the Pioneer AVIC-D3X DVD Navigation Receiver w/ Bluetooth & iPod control cable. Also picked up the Pioneer GEX-P10XMT XM NavTraffic Satellite Radio and Boyo VTL300 Zinc Black License plate back-up camera.

Looking at speakers I'm seriously leaning towards the following set-up;

- JL Audio C5 6-1/2" Components
- JL Audio 10W3v3 subwoofer
- JL Audio 300/4 Amp (Run components & sub)
- Wicked C.A.S. Corner box (Click Me!)
- Various wiring needed.

I think this will sound pretty damn good in the Z.

Thanks. I completely agree. I want a great sound for me. Not trying to rattle the car next to me.

I haven't bought the speakers, sub & box or the amp yet. Just been talking to different pwoplw and vendors and this just seems like the perfect set-up and for a great price.

LOL Well this is what I ended up getting;

- JL C5-650 Components
- JL TR650Cxi Rear Speakers
- JL 10W3v3 Sub
- JL 500/5 (100x2 Components, 25x2 Rear, 250x1 Sub)
- 350Z Corner Box

Just need to pick up an amp wiring kits, RCA cables and speaker wire.

Well, I was going to say the 300/4 might not be enough to power the 10w3v3, but the 500/5 should do the trick. Won't beat my sound system, but I don't have a polished Cosworth in my engine bay either...

Didn't know we were in a competion!!! The 300/4 was my concern talking to the vendor. That is when he came back with the second option. I think this will hit my goal of just a better sounding system than the Bose. So Dave... Have any plans other than the NASA event. Need to get everything installed.

Depends when your car gets back from Bills, and my schedule, but if I am free, more than willing to help with the install.

Thanks Dave! When you need help call a Marine, huh? Should have the car back the 21st but we'll talk more once I'm home.
