I could post up a picture of the Holy Grail I just picked up and some people would come along and say lil John's is nicer and the lighting was bad in picture anyway. That beast is a 740hp, best of the best and someone focuses on a rock chip on the window. The title was the point, "Kev's new MasterGrade hood" Un-believable....
Geez, Kevin. Now I know why everyone always talks about going to your place. I thought it was about the parties and good times, but now I see it's because you have a huge garage with lots of toys.
By toys, I don't mean the Z, the Jeep, or the sweet Gixxer... no, I mean what looks like a nice Miller TIG welder. I've been shopping around and saving for a a nice welder, so I wouldn't have to keep borrowing one and hauling all 250lbs of it back and forth from my buddy's place. Sorry to go OT, but what model do you have and how do you like it?
And I dig the carbon fiber bits on your Z, too. Looks good.

I really like the Miller line-up, it's what I use in the shop. I have a tough time with Al as well, I just need more practice with it. Mostly 4130 chromoly and mild steel square stock/angle iron is all we weld. The Al pieces are usually CNC'd, so there is very little welding to do with fabrication of Al parts. I always wanted to try making aluminum sheet intake manifolds, just for my own fun. Hence, I've been shopping around for a good TIG to keep at my place. My buddy owns a Lincoln, and it's nice, but expensive compared to other brands. I've been keeping my eye open for a good used TIG, just as soon as I make some space in the garage for one, LOL.

I almost stole that gixxer, then i realized id be crazy to even ride it, so i just sat in the garage making motorcycle noises pretending like i was driving it, really was a good time...
