When did you go?! I was going to ***** out a bunch of pictures but you saved me the effort. That ZR1 was just nasty right? GTR looks so much better in real life too. I was there on wed night.

Edit: just read you were there tonight lol.

Yeah, went tonight since I figured tomorrow-Sunday would just be ridiculously busy. The ZR1 is definitely awesome; I just wish they didn't have those damn chrome wheels on it. Also sat in a Z06 for the first time and noticed how little room it has on the driver's side. The seat doesn't quite go as far back as it should, so my elbows were bent; can't picture driving it that way.

Oh, and seeing the GT-R in person was a helluva surreal experience. Very cool. My wife went, "Honey, that should be your next car."

For me, this was definitely more fun than the last year's show.

I miss the Denver Autoshow
The GT-R is awesome, ZR1 looks ok, GT-R is much better looking, and why does Ford show several year old concepts???

Damn, it's an auto show in the US, you think they could get a US spec (LHD) GTR there...

other than that, the GTR looked really nice

To be honest I was a bit disappointed in the show. Don't know why buy nothing really grabbed me. Yeah the GTR, ZO6, Evo X (blah), R8 (Got a fire extingisher), STi (puke), and Lambos were there. But nothing really caught my eye. Oh! The F430... Sex.

Ha! That was my only question for the NNA rep who was "guarding" the GT-R. His answer was that LHDs that are in the country right now are being used for the press and only JDM versions are available for the national car show series (which too, is wrapping up in the near future).

The F430 was a display for a "spray on" clear bra. Guy asked me to tell where the line was on the hood and I couldn't. It is basically sprayed like clear coat onto the paint and requires bumper removal.

Did they also ask you to look for the emperors new clothes? j/k! Looks like a pretty good time.
