If there are any Z owners interested, on the 29 of August there is going to be a Sport Compact Only night meet at SIR in Tucson. Go to SCO.DRAGRACING.COM for more info. If you are interested, reply and we can plan a convoy of Zs to get there at the same time. It would freakin rock if I found out I wasn't the only Z owner in AZ. Anyone out there want to go to the track?!?!?!?!?

Just got my Z on Saturday! It's a Pikes Peak White Base model. I'd like to go with you all, but I don't want to run my Z just because I only have like 100 miles on it so far.

 

A big mistake on my part fellas. Don't go to sco.dragracing.com... go to SIRACE.COM for more info the the aug 29 event. It has the address, and if you have the Nav system, it works, I know. We should get together and roll there in a group. All the Tucson Zs representin'. Know what I mean. I say we meet somewhere and leave from there. Any ideas or suggestions? This is just a thought, but what about the Blockbuster at Speedway and Campbell? Like at about 630 PM? I think the event starts at 7... but SIRACE.COM has the flyer on its website.

yeh I used to go when I had my old car. It was good times. Even though I didn't win many races, but it was still fun.

 

I'm up in Phoenix and would love to come down. I've never had the pleasure of taking my car to the track. Do I need a helmet? Any other req's?

 

As far as I know, the only time you need a helmet is if you are running under 14 seconds. Go to SIRACE.COM and go to the new racer link for race info. We got about 2 weeks to go. I say that we meet somewhere and go in a Z convoy. I mentioned meeting at the Blockbuster at Speedway and Campbell, but no one seemed to reply. Does anyone else have other suggestions? Lets plan and go in style...

Yes, I live in Tucson, which is not the best place to own a Z now with all the construcion going on in the city.

Well, its been a couple of days since the last post and its a few days untill the event. Zsivlerstone, are you going to be able to meet the Blockbuster?

 

I am going to try to make it, but this point I am still unsure if any other plans might come up.

Well, the gates open at 6pm.... if you want to get there at "gates open" I say we meet at 5:15... but thats kind of early. I have the day off of work so it wouldn't be a bother to me to get there at 5:15... other wise, I say 6:15 at the latest so we could get some good runs before the big crowd gets there. I say it would take a half hour to get to SIR from Blockbuster.

In the end, its up to you bro. I am free all day but I understand that most aren't as lucky. When YOU can go, then we will go.
