I had a blast hanging out with Brian and David and checking out the decked-out Z32 that stopped by.
Too bad about the folks who said they would make it and didn't show. That makes it tough to try to set up something like this and set aside the time to meet, when others say they'll be there and don't show up (without posting that they won't be there; or at least why they didn't show, after the fact.) Oh well, that just meant more free beer for me!

I would have come but have the same reason as I've had for the past 9 months - out of town in Virginia working. Anyone know of a job for a software engineer in Denver? Looks more and more like the only way I'm going to get back home is to find a new job. I've been looking some but this is a hard month to find a job with the holidays.
I'll be home for the rest of this month after the 16th. I'd be up for another impromptu get together if I can get my car down from the mountains. Not sure how much snow there is up around my house.
At least I've kept the mileage down with being away - only about 3000 miles this year so far.

i thgouht about coming up just to meet some of you guys, but alas, i had surgery on friday, so i wasn't going anywhere. maybe next summer. (and oooooooo maybe i will even have a Z then instead of the turd)
