Had enough, between collecting parts and multiple shops dropping the ball it is over a year and I still have a disassembled bunch of parts.

Specs are BC 88mm crank, BC rods 96.5 JE 11.0.1 pistons +1mm Manley valves and Jim Wolf S7 cams & springs.

I bought a sub 10k oil consumer block & heads so the build could be done and I could keep my car.

Everything is new never used and everything in the build thread is included except the cooling parts (radiator, fans & shroud, hoses, oil cooler parts) and headers.


The heads are assembled, the bottom end is assembled ready for the heads. All machine wor & assembly was done by S&S in Tempe.

I have over 13k into this I'll take as close to 9500 as I can get.

I also have the following:


EBC slotted rotors

about 10k on them.

Ran with big Akebono calipers for less than 500 miles while I waited to get the new rotors.



The rusty area is where the big calipers were not contacting the rotors.

I paid more than 600 shipped looking for 300.
