This past weekend, the Colorado Nissan Owners Club (CONOC.net) had a meet at a local skilled nursing center. While the cars were the stars, there was plenty of great interaction with CONOC members visiting with residents and staff:







This obviously wasn't just for Z's, although we had an older S30 and two Z33s to show off. One of our members had just purchased a gorgeous 2014 R35 Black Edition and it was great to have the marque's flagship in the show:



The residents, many of whom have multiple physical deficits, really enjoyed a car show that came to them! A more appreciative audience will not be found as these are car enthusiasts who just can't drive any longer.







This is the second year CONOC had a meet at this particular nursing home. The staff made it an activity for Nursing Home Week and provided drinks and snacks for everybody. Only took a few hours out of the day and the karmatic return was limitless. CONOC hopes to make it an annual event in future years!

 

Predictably, no responses. Still was a good time for everybody involved.
