Default Z Car Club of Colorado track day/fun run at High Plains Raceway

We will be hosting our 2nd fun run of the year at HPR Sunday September 25.

We really need more cars as our last attendance was sorely lacking.

We have 4 run groups of different experience levels.

You don't have to own a z to come out and have with us. Any Make and model are welcome. Roadsters will have to have after market roll over protection.

We have 2 tech sessions scheduled. Tomorrow sept 17 from 10am till 3pm. call me for the address.

Just to add to this: HPR is a great track for both novice and expert drivers alike. 2.55-miles of winding track with elevation changes. You'll be going WAY faster than any street race for WAY longer and will want to slow down by the end of the day for the drive back home.

The ZCCC hosts a nice track day event for not much money for those who want to drive their Zs the way they were designed. Learn more about your car (and yourself) for less than the price of a popcharger.

Sunday was a great day to be at the track. I think there was a total of two 350's there. Maybe three. One 370, and quite a few 240's and 260's. There was probably six cars in each run class. At least in A and B. You pretty much had the track to your self. The weather was great and everyone there was more cordial than I've seen at some track days.

Definitely a good time. I even set a personal best at High Plains. So I'm certainly happy.

Thanks to Darrel for putting this on.

HPR rules. Nissan does not classify the hoops as real roll over protection, so insurance won't allow roadsters. You can contact HPR for what cars pass with factory protection.
