Durango Drive......June 25 - June 27
It may, and I have been told to look into that. I know you said workers comp., but I believe you meant unemployment. However, I would still make more money working here until I find a new job then I probably would collecting unemployment. I think though that unemployment really only pays about 25% of your previous years average earnings. I may be wrong on that though. However if things get any worse I may just have to quit because as of right now they are intentionally making it very hard to stay here, not just in pay, but other things as well and I'm having a real hard time dealing with that.

Sorry I did mean unemployment. It sounds like I was in a simular situation as you with my old job. I got a lot of advice from a friend's wife who's in HR and another friend who's wife is a Corporate Lawyer. If you have any questions I can relay them to my freinds to answer, just PM me or something like that.
Brian,
I'd be contacting a lawyer who specializes in labor disputes. I'd also be in touch with the state labor board. What your boss is doing sounds like harrassment to me. He at least deserves a good ***-whooping.

No matter how it goes for you Brian, you'd better have your resume in circulation, as I'm sure you do. We never talked about it the one time that I met you, but what kind of background do you have? Not promising anything, but I may be able to help. Shoot me a PM.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Wow. Great pics...sorry I had to miss the drive. Hopefully you guys had fun and didn't hit too much weather on the drive back on Sunday. We'll have to get another drive put together soon, so that those of us that missed out can get some mountain-driving time in.
Brian, that sounds really shady what this guy is doing. 2K a MONTH!?!? I'm no lawyer, but if you're the only one at your company that's getting this treatment (and possibly even if you're not,) then it sounds like you could have a legit case against this guy. Good luck, and I really hope it doesn't come down to selling the Z. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I don't know much about your line of work, but at least I can give moral support.

The drive to Durango was fun except for Wolf Creek Pass which is under construction. The rain made it very muddy and the Z's looked really bad in brown. Saturday was wash day and a trip to Mesa Verde for some sightseeing. In the way back we stopped at a trading post and bought a Navajo rug for the remodeled family room.
Sunday we stopped in Ouray for some lunch after a spirited drive from Durango. The trip home was pleasant. We picked up rain on Monarch Pass and it stayed with us 'till home.
Here are two more pics from the trip

SWEET!!!
My son and I went on a round-a-bout trip of Colorado a couple years ago in the Jeep. One of our planned stops was Mesa Verde, but it was still blazing when we got down there and they weren't letting anyone enter. That pic makes me think that I was actually there. I'm glad the rain didn't sour your trip any... sometimes that can happen!
