We're pretty rare down here as far as seriously modded Z's go.
I guess an older crowd (or at least how I see it when I go to a car meet).

The most you'll see is a Z with wheels. LA is a different story with so many Z's...especially more towards the OC area.

I usually post in the So Cal sightings thread, but almost never see anyone from San Diego there...... I'll try here for a while.

Let's see........ the past week or so, I've seen a yellow Z with Nismo type wing on Miramar Rd by the base. A Z with the Nismo stripe down the side in the Mira Mesa Mall parking lot by Submarina. Black Z with wing on Miramar Rd (just yesterday).

 

lots of sightings here in San Diego, just been to busy to post .

A short while later, a lowered black G and white Z drive through the lot together.

 

Daytona Blue with Nismo rear spoiler, dumped with 19" wheels and camber off the charts!

Black Z on Bennett in Escondido/ San Marcos on the way to Blockbuster this AM... then a LeMans Sunset same intersection on the way back home.. Kooky.

Red with black Nismo style wing driving down Washington by Rock Springs in Escondido.

 

Yesterday I saw a Red Z in Lemon Grove, on Lemon Grove Avenue. Had a Mossy Performance paper liscense plate on it (thought that was closed) and some kind of wheels. Two bigger guys were in it. I caught up to them and made a U-turn.
I was driving a Black '06 Z with white (fiberglass) fenders, Siebon carbon fiber hood, Volk GTS's with Vegas Neveda plates. (customers car)

 

Black with aftermarket rims and looked lowered stopped with me at the light on Camino Ruiz and Miramar...... actually got a wave!

Then, another black Z coming the other way on Miramar. Both headed into the base.

 

Finally a forum with active people from San Diego. My name is Christopher, so far since I got my 04' track a month ago, here's what i've seen. 2 Red 350z's on Miramar by my work, one with maybe 19 or 20" Volk Racing TE37 Bronze with a bunch of stickers on them, and the other with Black Rims, never seen them before with I think with a Veilside Wing. I've seen another track model like mine with Silverstone paint. My friend owns a white g35 coupe with silver deep dish rims. In Mira Mesa, i've seen 3 G35 coupes, a Grey one with either Piaa or Blitz rims, 2 others with Skyline Badges. In Scripps where I live, there's a new blue one that's fixed up with LE28N's, a white 07' stock, and a white G35 with chrome rims.
