Default I want to hear your TESTPIPES!

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone from So Cal has testpipes with stock exhaust??? I would like to meet up with you some time and see how they sound. I don't care what brand, preferably helix or kinetix, but I just really want to hear some before I buy them. I'm in Oceanside, and would drive about an hour to meet up. (anywhere from SD to Riverside)

Reason is because I hear everyone loves the gains, but ALOT of people have sold their tespipes in the classified section because they thought it was too loud or raspy.

thanks, ryan

hello Die Die Die (My Darling),

(i couldn't resist)

they are loud and very raspy with the stock exhaust. i installed a set for a friend, and he had me promptly de-install them. they quiet down a bit with an aftermarket exhaust, but for some reason they sound like doo-doo with the stock.

a big group of us meets every tuesday night in SD, and we pretty much all have high flow cats. you can take your pick on hearing those. check the SD GTG thread.
