This is hot: Spoke with Mike of Pro Design - Stated that cost is about 1800.

so let me get this straight.

$600 for the kit ($300 each door)

how much that body shop charge you for instalation? Can you pm me the shop info cuss i want to have it install too.

Thanks very much.

BTW, how is it? like it? any trouble open up and close down?

I think that it's $1000 (roughly) for the kit (hinges) and then an additional $600 for installation. You are looking at around $1600 at least for the kit plus installation.

Mike and his team at Pro Design did a really fantastic job installing the kit. I had no issues with the door opening or closing. It closed just like the stock door once it is in the down position.

However, I do have a reverse ding on the driver side front quarter panel because of the head bolt rubbing against it. Also, the gas strut that holds the door up has gone bad lately and the door doesn't stay up - needs to be replaced! Since, I am outside the 6mo warranty according to Gina @ Vertical Doors Inc, it will cost $150 per strut to replace it. Ouch! However, the comments and attention I get w/ these doors makes it all worth it!

why is it so much money for the kit? I thought it was going to be around $1000 with installation.
