The Twisted Z II lives but Mr Twisted is getting Killed!!
Good news the car is salvageable, but I'm getting killed all around.
Thanks to all my friends Who wished me well. It was good to have your support , were just a small family'
AAA won't cover, 10 cent of the aftermarket mods of which I have over 20K because I didn't have extra insurance for it. No tires, rims or body kit.
Plus they want to charge me 2 points for the accident, to my insurance because " I shouldn't have been out in the rain." But I could appeal. Anyone with some advise concerning this?
I figuare this unavoidable incident over the next three years will cost my over $25,000, so If you see my car looking half stock, and half not, have a little heart.
The ONLY ray of sunshine, is the BEST repair doctor in the" Tuner Market " has the car (PJ Bonifacio) and PJ has
personally assured me the Twisted Z II will be as good as new, given enough BLING.
Anyone interested in some race & exotic firearms. PM me.

That sucks. That is why I gave a huge list of mods to my insurance company and brought the vehicle over to the insurance agent to verify and make the policy change. I have seen people get screwed over so many times the same way you did that I decided to get the extra coverage. Good luck with everything

Insurance ......Scam. They make you have it and then it covers nothin
The car was still in the build mode, A new front bumper, Turbo, brakes, seats and other stuff was going to be added to a already massive list of stuff, before we upped the insurance. Well I better up the insurance on the Twisted Z before Lighting hits me again.

damn ron,
sorry about the aaa fiasco. i guess it is a good idea from now on to declare the mods to the insurance companies for this type of reason. damn insurance companies dont even try to help even tho they should for all the money they make.
as long as it is in pj's hands tho, i can assure you that the car will come out like new.

Hmmm 2 points for an accident because you shouldn't be driving in the rain...........
I guess the insurance has to justify some way to get an increase in premiums to recover their cost.
I find it hard to believe that people that have to go to work shouldn't go to work because it's raining.
Fight this one.

I'm with FLZ-Boy, I don't understand their reasoning. Your AAA insurance does not cover incidents in the rain? I have never heard of that before... unless did you have some special arrangement with AAA to lower your premium for not driving in the rain?? Fight it Ron!
Good luck!!

Thanks for this info. When I bought my new Magnum I was at my insurance company getting it all signed up. I happened to ask about all my mods on my Z and if they were all covered. The lady told me (without looking anything up) that "as long as it is permanently attached to the car" it would be covered. Now, I feel compelled to go there and get this in writing ASAP.
Thanks again Twisted!

Here are a few more suggestions:
1. Review your policy to verify under what circumstances modifications are "covered".
2. Review your Homeowner's Insurance to see if any additional coverage exists to cover the modifications.
3. Review your Umbrella Coverage to see if your modifications are covered.
4. If you paid for any of your modifications by credit card, see if any insurance exists for loss.
5. If there is another party involved, see if there is any coverage with the third party.
6. Negotiate with the adjustor through your bodyshop to maximize your claim so as to minimize your loss.
7. Certain insurances companies cover all modifications. Find one that does so and insure with them in the future.
8. Keep track of the casualty and loss for tax deduction purposes.
None of the above should be construed as legal advice.

Thanks Dan for the heads up, Armando No people have been doing the nasty on your car hood. You'll never get the smell out now.
Doc BonZ Ya Sales people will tell you anything to get you to sign. We asked at the time we got our insurance to add rental car. Now that I need it no rental was never added.
Who ever looks at a policy other that the price we have to pay each month????
I'm with AAA who needs to read the fine print???? Ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
