FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!

It would be retarded to go by that list and have to wait for people to show up.

I think it's only fair that if you posted that you'd show up, you get to dyno before the people that never even posted. Mind you, because i had to tell Powertrain a good estimate of how many people to expect for that day.

If you're going to show, please add your name to the list. We're expecting a gang of people for that day and i'd like to do an "AFTERMATH" thread.

Thanks all!!!

ITS MOTORDYNE PROMO DAY AT THE SOCAL DYNO DAY!

Kegudi,
Yes. In fact, Saturday will be a Motordyne plenum spacer dyno promo!

Everyone at the SoCal dyno day gets distributor pricing of 30% off! And for good measure, there will also be a 12:00 raffle for a plenum spacer of any size you want. 1/4", 3/8" or even 1/2". (If you buy a spacer and later win the raffle you get a total refund!)

1/4" $195 --> -30% is $135
3/8" $215 --> -30% is $150
1/2" $245 --> -30% is $170

I encourage everyone to get their spacer pre/post dynod. You will like seeing the 5-10HP gains that are so easily made. And if you want, I can even do the install. I've done it so many times it only takes about 20 min.

It would be great to see all the spacers get dynoed but I know that won't happen. We already have a huge list of people to get dynoed.
And Ohhh man. If you could only see a spacer dynoed against one of the other plenum mods.

See you there!

+1.....unfortunately, I have to have my throwout bearing replaced AGAIN soon. Dont want to give the dealer any ammo for voiding warranties yet.

I will however give some thought to buying a spacer for after the work is completed.

Z BOY,

No, not yet but that is a test I will definitly be doing. The plots below show the general direction of performance Vs plenum height.
the modacar dynoplot is pre/post 3/8" plenum spacer dyno.

Tony

PS: the plots were somehow rearranged in backwards order after I hit the post button. View the last plot first to see the progression of plots.

Do you have to remove the stock tower bar with plenum?

Akira,

1/4" spacer keeps the stock strut bar in place and fits nicely.
1/2" spacer ditches the stock strut bar but it too fits nicely.
For any size spacer used, you never need to cut the engine cover and it always looks stock.

So it all depends on what direction you want to go with your set up. The plots above basically show a direct comparison of the two.

Tony

Hydrazine

Good looking out. I just had my ECU flashed at Technosquare. I can't wait to see the dyno results with your spacer.
