If anyone is interested, me and a few friends are trying to get a decent sized group together to do a meet this coming sunday, the 15th. Not strictly a Z meet but I drive a Z now and would love for some other Z owners in the area to come join us . We're going to meet at the elco shopping center in Calabasas, sometime mid morning, and then go for a nice drive (more info on that later, still haven't decided exactly what the route will be yet), and then maybe we'll all stop somewhere and get something to eat. Who knows, but if there's any interest, let me know, I'd love to meet some people on this forum.

Why not have a Motordyne meet. Something small to medium in size and you can show them how easy it is to install one of those plenum spacer. Still have your plenum spacer on my car and could not be hapier with it. My friend just installed one on another 818 Z and he was pleased with the install.

You know, I was just thinking about that.

I'm moving Motordyne into a industrial facility where I can do a lot more development work and test it all on the dynapack.

I just signed the papers on Monday so its official now.

It will be a little before I can get the place completely setup. There is a lot to do but when its ready we can definetly have a good meet and do some dyno pulls.

How did you come up with the name motordyne anyways? Coming from an Audi to the 350Z a while back I saw the name motordyne and went before i realized its not the same company/person.

Background on that is there was a guy with a company of the same name in the midwest somewhere who ripped off a lot of Audi owners.

BoosTed,

If there are others using that name for other companies I suppose it can happen but its only coincidence.

My background is in aerospace/rocket science. Boeing in particular. Rocketdyne, a division of Boeing is one of the premier rocket propulsion companies in the world. Rocketdyne is very well know in the rocket propulsion industry for an amazing history in the advancement of the science.

Energetic Chemistry, Rocket propulsion and Jet propulsion are some of my other passions, so in keeping with the spirit of the industry of aerospace, I chose a name with a relation to it. Motordyne.

I also worked for another company (Marquardt) that specialized in state of the art propulsion systems. NMD, KKV's, nuclear powered ramjets and many other cool/insane weapon systems the Russians feared. If you were in any military part of the aerospace industry you knew of Marquardt's history. They did some very awesome work in aerospace that the public never knew of. Marquardt was a Top Secret Disney Land for engineers and scientists. There were no limits.

...But I wan't about to extrapolate a name from Marquardt. It wouldn't sound right.

Do you see what's under the hood? With some cams and a little head work should be faster than the z on the 1/4
