First let's decide on a city: Burbank, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, Sylmar, Sherman Oaks, Hollywood, Universal City?
Now what do we want to do there: cruise, chill, eat, drink or all?
When is a good time for everyone: Friday, Saturday, Sunday?
Morning, noon, or night?
I, for one, say we do it on a Friday or Saturday in the afternoon to give everyone a chance to show up on time and do whatever they have to in the morning. (i.e. work, etc.)

Let's see, off the top of my head, Burbank has a BJ's, Hooters, Islands, California Pizza Kitchen, Starbucks, In n Out, mall, and theather. As for parking, there is that 4 or 5 story lot behind Islands right next to the theather. It has plenty of parking, but the only way for us to park our cars together is to go all the way to the top. Unfortunately no one will see our cars unless they go all the way up there...
Second place is Porter Ranch where they have a Starbucks, In n Out, Islands, and a T.G.I. Friday's. There is plenty of open parking there and everyone will be able to see our cars...
Third place could be Universal City Walk since they have a lot of great restaurants. Just to name a few; Bucca di Peppo, Hark Rock Cafe (15% military discount), Panda Express, Starbucks, etc. The bad thing about this place is that we probably won't be able to park together unless we go somewhat early on Sunday and no one will see our cars or care for sure, lol!
All good places, all have Starbucks, and all are low car friendlyish....
