100 Octane in So Cal?

I always ran the StreetBlaze 103 ( the streetblaze name is new...) as pure as possible. If you follow the descriptions on there you should be fine. I don't see why you would need higher octane on a NA car though....
76 used to have a great link on their site showing exactly how to mix and match and what the numbers are but it's no longer there...I was told a while back that they no longer produce 100 octane which I guess is not quite true since there are still some gas stations selling it, but they no longer advertise it.
If your Z is mostly stock (no exhaust/intake/headers/plenum, etc), 100 octane is a waste of money. You won't get any noticable increase in performance. Higher octane is only worth it if the car is F/I.

Im sure thier are a lot of FI people in socal who would like to know where to get some 100...
Once we get all the sites together we can make a FAQ with this...
I went to the 76 station off of LaPaz and filled up with 100 octane. I was on empty when I filled up. On my trip back home I couldn't feel a performance difference in my N/A Z. The engine did sound meaner but that easily could have been due to me pushing the car harder than I normally would. I only went through an 1/10 of a tank so maybe the ECU would take more time to adjust? Either way I was not expecting big gains. I just mainly wanted to see what the difference, if any, would be.
At nearly $6 a gallon, it get's expensive very quickly and isn't worth it for a N/A Z.
I have a 2004.5, btw.

Also I don't know if this is the same on the Z but in order for the ECU to recognize the higher octane fuel on my celi I needed to reset the ecu after filling up with 103 octane. Food for thought...

That is where I litterally live.
You're telling me I didn't know about this for 15+ years?

[(16gal x 91oct) + (4gal x 100oct)]/20 = 92.8 octane

I stopped by after work today and sure enough ... race gas' sold at that station. OMG!!!
I've managed to pump in ~19.2 gallons once. I ran way passed the 'yellow' light because I had no choice. I wouldn't recommend trying doing so, but there was no gas station around. Did my best feathering the throttle in order to maximize fuel efficiency. Another dude on the G35 Driver forum managed to reach just over 500 mile w. a single fill up. It took 19.8 gallons to fill his tank! Yikes!!!
