I decided to put half premium and half 100 octane to see what happens. I took a little cruise in Trabuco Canyon and Silverado Canyon this weekend and noticed a pretty good difference in power. I paid $6.05 for the 100 octane at the 76 on LaPaz and 5Fwy. I'm curious now what it will be like when I go to Buttonwillow this month.

 

I think there's a place called Dave's 76 in Fullerton. I used to buy race fuel there for my vintage Italian motorscooters. It used to be about 5 bucks a gallon.
