Some 76 stations carry 100 octane and usually run around $5.50 a gallon.

i emailed them. they say they don't have it in san diego, at least. gave me the following info, but i haven't called yet:
Matt, we don't sell high octane fuel under our brand name anymore, but
some 76 stations may carry it. I recommend you call Rocketbrand Racing
Fuels (Formerly 76 racing fuels) at 1-800-345-0076.

That's the only place in OC that I know that has it. When I had my A4 1.8T I would fill up half 100 and half 91. The wagon ran awesome on that.. it ran like it was on crack.
5.49/gal when I was there 2 months ago.

Is there a website that lists the 76 stations?

I saw one in the past and have been looking for it.

somehow my post disapeared....

I always used to get 103 VP Racing fuel in 5 gallon barrels from a local speed shop and then pump it in using VP fuel Jug 2.5 gallons for track days (back in the days of nitrous)

There's a listing on their site for local dealers:

As long you stay away from leaded, you should be okay. For a stock Z or one with no ECU adjustments to take advantage of the higher octane, I would think a mixture from 91 -> 93 should be sufficient and any octane higher than 93 wouldn't net any gains.

I mixed 100 octane to get a bump from 91 to 93 and gained roughly 8 WHP, but I certainly couldn't feel any difference (but the dyno said there was).

that is a great site, thanks, but they offer so many different types of unleaded fuel, i don't know which one would be best for my na z. also, does anyone know how to correctly combine fuels of different octane ratings in order to produce one with the octane rating one wants?

03s supposedly will run better all the way to 100 octane, but the fuel maps are different from 04.5 up.

i went to the place I said and put in 1/2 tank as mine was already 1/2 full. Noticed that smoother idle formost. semms to get up a little better but that could be my brain.
