Default Costa Mesa/Irvine Aprt. w/Garage???

Hi 350Zers,

My lease for my aprt. ends in July. I am looking to move into a new aprt. w/a car garage. Got to shelter my baby. I prefer to live in Costa Mesa or Irvine only. Does anyone know of a good place other than Irvine Company properties?

My max limit would be $1500.00/month. Costa Mesa doesn't really have any new apartments around the area. I just think Irvine is totally overpriced for the space you get.

Any info. is helpful. Thanks in advance.

ICP owns the whole place, don't they? Good luck finding a good deal...

ps. I thought we have quite a few real estate agents on the board... you may want to seek their advice if they are in OC.

I might be moving to costa mesa also at the end of july, its an apt/towne home, its gated, but no garage. The parking spaces just have a roof over them. I'm a little worried, but from my understanding costa mesa is a pretty good city, haven't heard anything bad about. Do you have any bad expierences? I might just end up getting myself a car cover.

I live and rent an apt in CM and can tell you it's hard to find a garage, but a carport with a gated entrance is possible. I't hard to find an apt. with a garage. If you want a garage you should be looking at townhomes.

VQ35DEV6 - It really depends where you live in Costa Mesa. I have been living here for less than 2 years. Based on my observation, the closer you are to the 55 Freeway the better the neighborhood. I think this is refer to the Eastside. If you go down to the Westside, farther from the 55 it's more ghetto. I could be wrong though since I'm not a local. I live off Harbor and Fair close to OCC and I would say it's pretty safe. Mostly college students in the area.

Tenn SZ - Do you know any good Townhomes in Costa Mesa?

I have a carport but my car always gets dusty so I prefer a garage and the peace of mind.

No, I moved down here about 2 years ago. Property keeps moving too quickly. I don't know if anyone is willing to rent in this market. All the townhomes I see are for sale. Sorry I don't know any more. I would check down near the South Coast Plaza there's always someone selling or renting in that area.

As for apt rental's i think the Aspen's may have garage/gated parking.

I might move there to take classes at OCC, the apt I was looking at is right by there. Saw the ferrari dealer too, it was like a block away. so the OCC area is pretty safe?

I live literally blocks away from OCC actually closer to Vanguard Univ. The apts in that area are pretty safe CMPD is right down the street.

Yeah, I live only blocks from OCC. It is pretty safe overall. The aprt. right next to the Ferrari dealer on Baker are kind of ghetto but the aprts. behind the dealer is pretty decent. I think it's called Camden Martinique.

Tenn SZ, we must live pretty close to each other. I have a 350ZR PPW stock. By the way are you going to the Santa Barbara run on 6/26? If so, Zs in OC are meeting at the Tustin Marketplace to cruise up to Topanga to meet everyone else.

Hmm.. I had a CS Base Coupe, until some kid ran a red light on fair and newport blvd (SB) and totaled my Z. It was just blocks away from my apt. I now drive a TW G35 sedan.

Me350Z, I do think we live close to each other. I think Bullish lives around here too, I met him at the Stater Bros. on Newport.

I don't think I'll be making the trek to Santa Barbara. My job may need be to go to China that week. I appreciate the invite.

Not a townhouse, but I live in a very nice complex in CM. 2BR/2BA, 1000sf give or take, two-car garage. I'm paying 1,330 a month. There's also 2 Z's, including mine, and 2 G's in the complex. PM me if interested.

Hmm, if anyone has a room in a house in IRVINE or adjacent city (without having to deal with traffic...) being ready to rent out, let me know. I'm thinking of moving closer to my work.
