Default ok z owners!

cmon guys, there should be more of you at drift day, the z is the best out of the box drift car, yet i rarely see any Zs out there, theres about 4 of us that go regularly and thats it.

i usely drift with my stock wheels on, but my friend wanted a shot at drifting my car, and i wanted some pictures with my wheels on, so it worked out.

yes, i was out there with "the bob" and we kicked lots of a$$...well, not really but we had lots of fun. we are gaining popularity as the two kids with z's there. kinda nice, but again we would like to see more z's out here. its just too fun to do. you will get hooked as soon as you try it for yourself.

my z is mostly stock except for a plenum and cusco lsd. it is seriously one of the best setup cars out of the box. this is not according to me, but alex pfiefer, one of the best formula d competitors out there.

im awaiting pics of me out there, i wish i coulda gone with bob for day 2 on my dubs, but i had chores to do today...

looks fun! but I'll stick to tracks and canyons for now.
--you know how they never really talk about changing the tires on Takumi's AE86? I'm not sure how much he (his dad) spends on tires delivering tofu (ie business expense).

what LSD do you have?

lol, yea that true. but you know bunta is all hooked up. toyota race engine+knowing the drift king probably helps. i suspect full sponsorship status. but what is the best out of everything in the anime, bunta always drifts/drives with his eyes closed

I was with SHO at Buttonwillow, I think the drift event was on the same day as Buttonwillow?

In either case, I'm kinda in a tight budget to get my N/A Supra up for the track (maybe I might try 1 drift event with either the Z or Supra). I kinda need my Z as a daily driver while I only have 1 car running.

At least knocking down cones seem cleaner than running into dirt patches at Buttonwillow.

my Z is my only car at the moment, drifting is all about using your daily driver

I didn't know there are drift events around here.
I'm very interested however I have never tried it and in my neighbourhood is absolutely no place to practise.
Where is it? Is it Legal? How much? and most importatnly is there some form of teaching on how to do it other than watching this drift bible...

Seems like an expensive hobby, how much do good drifting tires run you? I assume they don't last more than 1 event, maybe 1-2 runs... just a guess though...

Some of my buddies just buy (or free) used tires at scrap yards.
