they say the nismo frees up 6whp....without the nismo Y wouldn't it net less?

 

yep most of the power from catback upgrades comes from the Y.

I'd sell the Y with it, but the outer insulation is scraped up pretty bad (cuz my car is lowered) so I doubt anyone would buy it...

You can get another aftermarket Y and bolt it on.
