I'm going to Irwindale this Thursday, after my fiasco at Famoso I need to get my ego back and find out if I can still drive....and most importantly if I hurt my tranny or not...
And if things go well I might beat my 7.778 and possibly get kicked out for not having a roll bar....

In any case would be cool to see some more Z's and or G's

I'm out, my car is still smarting from the rear till Friday.

 

anytime after 7 you're pretty much out of luck. Sometimes it's empty but it usually gets pretty full.
if you don't have to prep your car you might get a few runs in.

I have to change tires everytime so I have to be there early and stop no later than 9:30 since they kick you out right at 10

NOTE for the Newbies:
Make sure you bring your drivers license and don't wear shorts
Don't have any loose stuff in your car


I should be there around 5 pm since I am at the Micorosoft PDC all this week (over 7000 geeks in one convention center....lol ) and can't get out of there till after 4

Allright I posted details in the drag section but here's a quick recap:

took Albertos launch advise and hit 1.7 60' foots finally!!!

Best 60' foot = 1.731 best ET = 7.808 and best MPH = 93.81

I also figured out my shift problem which is why my ET's have not improved from last time, I babied it tonight... next week at Cali Speedway's privates I got plenty of chances to practice more.

Only thing I didn't like that I did not get to race anyone in my class. I lost one race against a 5.5 second monster car great race though! All the others I won by at least 1 second... I need to run cars doing similar ET's to have a better challenge

 

Yea, it was nice seeing you too. I had fun also but I am not nearly as fast. My best tonight was a 9.0 with a 2.200 60 ft. I wanted to get into the 2.0 for my 60 but I just kept getting wheel spin or bogging down. So, I still have to learn my Z but I will get it.!
