Of course, the 805-S is technically going east on the map, but hey, I didn't come up with the original masterpiece! I was too stupid to realize this in the beginning so I never bothered changing it! So there you have it...the 805 is perfectly perpendicular to the 5.

awesome basha!!!
navy, if you depart from the spectrum at 9:30, when do you estimate you'll arrive at best buy? and again at hazard ctr?
ps: are there enough oc people coming to justify an oc meeting place along the way?
pps: do we need any stinking badges?

So most SD people are just going to meet at Hazard Center?

As for the OC people, I would suggest they meet at the Spectrum if possible. If you're in south OC and don't want to drive backwards, then you have the option to meet at the Best Buy parking lot as well. Here is just an idea based on what some people said:

9:00 - 9:45 AM: Gathering at Irvine Spectrum

9:45: - 10:45 AM: Drive from Irvine Spectrum to Best Buy parking lot (~50 miles)

10:45 - 11:30 AM: Gathering in Best Buy parking lot

11:30 - 12:15 PM: Drive from Best Buy along main cruise route (Oceanside to La Jolla) (~25 miles, averge speed is around 40MPH; also factor in traffic lights)

12:15 - 12:30 PM: Drive on 805/163 to Hazard Center (La Jolla area to Hazard Center)

12:30 - ???: Main meet at Hazard Center

All times are probably +/- 15 minutes (more likely plus since as we saw at the RR meet, it becomes difficult to exit as a group!). Note that this is just a guesstimate. Depending on traffic, the times may be off significantly.

Concern/Suggestion...
Getting to Irvine at 9AM on Saturday may be difficult for some individuals coming from further out. I would probably say 10AM versus 9AM, but then again this is just my suggestion. If this is a better alternative, then add 1 hour to all times listed above.

What do you guys think?

I think 9 a.m. at irvine spectrum is perfect! ALL O.C. and L.A. Z's with their owners should meet at spectrum at 9a.m. Let's do this ****, no more wondering about when and where..... it's all setup now. i'll be there at 9a.m. only thing we need to know is what part of Spectrum parking lot should we meet in, that place is huge...

Actually I thought mst of us SD guys were going to meet up at the Best Buy in Oceanside. I am at least. Kinda hard to lead a cruise from the destintation.

I figured that some people wouldn't want to drive back up and then back down again. Personally I wouldn't mind it, but then again I'm used to driving back and forth between LA/SD anyways.

For this reason I thought that the SD guys weren't going to meet at BB. It seemed like some people were just going to drop by at Hazard Center. But it's definately better if we have more people on the main cruise!

Yeah we definately need a meeting spot. Any suggestions? And 9AM is definately fine with me. I just hope everyone makes it out since it may be kinda early! How long does it take to get from SFV or the IE to Irvine Spectrum? For me personally, it would be around 30 minutes depending on traffic.

9 AM at Irvine is koo. We arent going to leave for SD til 9:45 ish anyways. Gives some time for people to get in.

We definately needs to make another OFFICAL THREAD so people know for sure this is really going down.

Default 9:00 it is!

I'd probably have to drive out at 7:45 AM to get there from La Puente cause even Saturday has traffic but hey if it's going down I'll be there for sure!

Okay, 9AM seems to be fine with everyone. We'll be leaving around 9:45 from the Spectrum, so that should definately give time for people to show up. (alright, fine, we might need to stretch it to 10AM to wait for some people, *cough* TONY/tractng*cough* )

I'll make an official thread for this once I get back home. Should we have a separate list for the different meeting spots (Irvine Spectrum; Best Buy in Oceanside; Hazard Center)? Or just one master list?

Cool I can definately set that up. But can someone confirm the EXACT directions after 805-S? You take 163-S, exit....turn...turn....? I think I can come up with the rest of the directions.

Its pretty straightforward. The 805S has an exit to the 163 south that you take. Get off at Friars road and go right on the ramp. Turn right onto Frazee road and and the entrance is right there.

9:00 AM at the Irvine Spectrum, by the new parking structure. It is the one on the 5 freeway side of the spectrum. I am sure that we can find each other that early in an empty parking lot, I will be there at about 8:30, I have an '03 Le Mans Sunset. We will leave there at around 9:30. I would love to know how many people are SD and how many are LA/OC. This is so we know how many cars we are waiting for at the Spectrum, as if we can leave at 9:15 because everyone is ther it would be good. Any easy way to figure that out?

We should be down to the BB parking lot at about 10:30-10:45 depending on traffic.
