HPDE Event Buttonwillow Nov 12, 13. Who's going?
I'm rolling to the HDPE track event at Buttonwillow Nov 12, 13. Anyone going?
Also, any suggestions where I can buy a SA rated helmet in San Diego? I'd buy one off the internet but I don't know which size I should get.

I think most people are going to December one.
One way you can measure your head size is to grab a ruler and mark down the measurement on a long sheet paper. Cut the sheet of paper wrap it around your head and you should be able to get the measurement (I think they uses inches, I can't remember what measurement I used on mine). There are alot of helmets available on the net, just you need to take the time and get your head measured.
If your a touchy feely guy with things you buy, than try some motorcycle shops for helmets.

1. always get fitted for a helmet before you buy.
2. dont cheap out. its your head. buy the best you can afford.
3. Check out the authorized dealers from the mfg websites..
sparco, simpson, bell all have authorized resellers. i'm sure there are plenty in SD.. i know alot of Auto-Xers in the SD area and they get their stuff locally.
4. measure one inch above your ears and take the widest measurement in inches. then if you plan on using a head sock, add 1/8" of an inch to that.
