I know, I know, I could have made it easy and said "sure I'll be there" but frankly, I don't expect much of a turn out from members all the way from San Diego.

Frankly, it would be nice if I am mistaken.

LOL. Hey, if I say "I'll be there", I'll be there. In fact, I'll buy the first four San Diegians that show a beer.

SnoopyZ and Lowfuel... help me organize this thing guys!

We need to set a time, place, routes, directions, etc etc etc...

Now I really want to get lotz of Z's together so we can make a "Z" out of our cars lined up together. UBER COOL!

We need a HUGE empty parking lot. Plus a cool drive (PCH would be cool, or the canyons), then a place to eat and have some beers!

Bullish... I think we should do a Canyon run. PCH runs are not as fun as they seem (in my experience).

I say we meet up @ the Irvine Spectrum in the morning (they have a HUGE lot). They caravan are way to Ortega Hwy. If we go in the morning it should be clear and fun.

Let me know what you think about this. Or we could do a smaller run... meet up @ Tustin Market Place... do the Santiago Canyon and then drive over to Fuddruckers... Maybe you could get a poll going about the date and or location... cuz we could also do Angeles Crest.

Let me know...

Brent, I have not driven in any of those.

Please give me an estimated length or time of each of the canyons... then I guess I'll start a poll.

What do people in LA/Valley think about a meet at about the 405/101 interchange about 1 1/2 hours prior to the OC meet to caravan down the 405 to OC?

Figure 15 to 30 minutes for group up and 1 hour to get down to OC.

If there is interest, we could start a LA to OC Caravan thread linked to here for details.

just a suggestion but we can also meet at a park, i.e. Mile square and maybe do some sort of pot-luck BBQ or something.

Hi all,
After the meet and the drive, I suggest to gather at my house instead of at a restaurant. We have more time to hang out, get food & drink and have a sort of Z party.
A view from my backyard:

I am down for angeles crest as well...
I think we should be at mission viejo mall if we do an ortega hwy run or IHOP at Tustin Market Place if we do a Santiago Canyon run. PCH isnt a very good place to drive... considering Dustin and I almost get tickets cruising at 100+mph.... hehehe

and a bunch of guys from the s2ki.com forum are running ortega on 1/18 at 8am with a few other 350z owners...

Yeah BullishZ... go to the S2ki run so you can get a feel for how Ortega Hwy is. And for anyone who wants to go on a Santiago Canyon run this Sunday night (1-12-03), let me know, esp you Bullish!! so you can get a feel for that one too... hehe
I expect to see some PM's...

As for the meet, if you want to take pictures of your Z, or our group Zz, may I suggest to meet at the Capistrano Beach near my house. Ortega Highway is not far away, and you will have your Z picture in a beautiful background.
Parking is about $1 per hour.
