By the way, I received a PM asking if my house can hold 30+ people. Yes it can. So let's have a Z party.

Very nice...

So far we have a place to go party after the drive/meet. And we have 2 runs to choose between.

Brent, sorry for missing the Sunday thing, but it was way too late for me man... Shall we do the run with S2ki group coming up?

Geez, I gotta try and keep up with this site - I go away for a few days and there's 3500 new messages. :P

Anyway, my feeling is that:

A. Definitely take up Ha on his offer. Since he is in Capistrano we should go for Ortega Hwy.

B. As for an initial meeting place, there's lots of options. The NSX club often uses the Starbucks at the corner of Culver and Irvine Ave., just east of the 5 exiting Culver. This is a nice location because it has a huge lot that is usually empty in the morning, gas is right there, coffee is there, etc. Less amenities but better from an organizational standpoint is just to meet at the start of Ortega Hwy (there's a little strip mall on the right side of you go east at bit from the 5 - lots of parking, but no gas/coffee/etc.) The advantage here is you can just get on the road and drive. I'd recommend at least re-grouping here if we caravan in from somewhere else.

C. Past experience has shown me that you can never pick a date that will make everyone happy, so dont even try. Just pick a date, and whomever can show, will. If you want the most cars possible, then more time between now and the drive is good. I would suggest Feb 23 (since football season is over, go for Sunday, so people have saturday to get their cars polished and all that).

D. Lastly, bullish, continually edit the FIRST POST in this thread with the current idea/plan, so there's no confusion as to what the current "official" plan is.

I'm happy to offer advice on this drive but I'd like to see you guys take the helm.

The forum prevents an edit after sometime passes.

With the responses in this and the other thread, I'm glad that I limited the beers to the first four San Diegians that arrive.

Ah... forgot about that. Well, then I suggest starting a new thread a few weeks before the event that clarifies the whole situation.

I finally voted yes on your other poll. Looks like you've got the meet of the year going on now with almost 30 Zs and perhaps more to show. Nice job.
