Default Bodykit install shop recommends Auto Explosion or MOB Works?

I'm looking to install a pair of K Style King side skirts (FRP) + Veilside V1 lip (FRP). Everything is original so I would expect fitment to be spot on.
Can anyone tell me how much paint/install would run?

Also, I'm planning to take the Z to either MOB Works in OC (near g/f's house) or Auto Explosion in Gardena and need recommendations which would be a better option in terms of pricing / paint work / turn around time, etc. I want to get this shizzle painted and installed b4 X'Mas. Any recommends would help

Thanks for the input fellas.

How's the price and turnaround time for MOB? I just talked to a guy at Auto Explosion today and he explained that if I was to take my car on Wednesday, I'd have the car back by Friday. This includes front lip / side skirts / paint matched door handles.

How is MOB's pricing and turn-around time compared to other shops?

All the folks on the S2000 board (www.s2ki.com) are blacklisting MOB as of late. Supposedly their ego has gotten the better of them, and customer service/satisfaction along with final results have gone down quite a bit.

Same here it took three days to get the kit ready. Like $600 installed with no spoiler. Then come to find out the paint did not match (ppw). So they repainted it no worries and wanted to see me happy. Can you blame MOB for hating on the hondas? JK

SOCAL350,

When did you get your Z painted? I have a PPW as well and want to get my kit painted at MobWoks but don't know if I want to go through the headaches of getting it repainted if it doesn't match.

Who did you work with?

What endend up happening was I shipped my kit directly to MOB. They painted the body kit without ever seeing my car based on the Dupont Color Code for PPW(QX1). Thats how I showed up to a white with too much yellow...the dupont color code messed it up . So to do it right you will need to set up with miguel to send your gas cap down there to color match with. With a color match it came out great. I have had it for just about a year and really have only one pit from where I took a rock on the front end. Learn from my experience it wont take as much time or headache.
