Recommended Muffler Shop...?
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good muffler shop. I recently bought a second pair of Crawford cats because my first ones were cracked and I need a reputable shop to install them and to weld my first set. I would appreciate any feedback you guys could give me. (I did do a search but all the info seemed outdated and pretty non-specific.) I work in Santa Fe Springs in case someone knows of a good shop nearby...
Thanks!
Thanks!

My recommendation would be to go to Mike's Muffler in El Monte, on Garvey right off the intersection of Durfee (at the intersection of the 10 and 605)... old school guy, does very clean work.
Yes, the guys' name is Mike. He is a G35 owner so he is familiar with the layout of our vehicles.

AAA Performance Exhaust on La Cienega in LA has done exhaust work on four of my cars, and I've always been very pleased with the results. Ask for Pepe, and tell him that the LA Auto Show guy sent you.

Hey there Sho. I haven't had the chance of going yet but I contacted Mike last week. I'm going to try and make it to his shop this week for sure. It's been real hectic here at work because of Christmas so I haven't had the opportunity to go. Thanks again guys for the recommendations. I'll keep you guys posted as to what happens...

Proof that I am not a mechanic...
I took my Z in to Mike's Muffler Shop this morning to have my new cats installed. I told him that his shop came very recommended from a Z site that I frequent and explained to him what (I thought) the problem was. He called me in the afternoon saying that he didn't have one of the tools necessary to take one of my cats off because whoever installed them put one of the screws and bolt in (?)backwards(?). So I go back down and he sends me to this guy down the street at El Monte Muffler. I drive the car onto the rack and then meet this new guy down below. He tells me: "I can replace your cats but you will have the same problem. Your cats are not cracked." After getting very pissed off for a few seconds just thinking of all of the hassle I had been through up until then I cool down and ask him what the problem is. He banged on the cat and it sounded as if something was INSIDE so he unbolts the y-pipe from the cat (obviously he had the tool that Mike didn't) and sticks a magnet inside but comes up with nothing. He bangs again and tells me that it's the small bracket attached to the cat that is making the noise. He said it needed some additional welding so he attaches the y-pipe and the cat back together, asks me to take a step back and then welds around the bracket and a bit around the screw. I test drive the car and the sound which had almost driven me insane IS GONE. I pay him $30 dollars and in less than half an hour the problem is solved. Now if I can only forget about the time I spent taking my car to the dealer, ordering and paying for the new cats, going to Mike's muffler, etc. etc....
Anyhow, the problem is solved. I'm not sure what to do about the new cats. I can sell them to someone at the discounted price Doug gave me or I can just as well keep them as spares.

Thanks Sho! I'm pretty sure I could sell them here pretty easily but I don't know if I want to do that. An extra pair might come in handy someday. We'll see. The good deal is that the noise is completely gone. It was pretty embarrassing and very annoying. Thanks to everyone anyhow for the recommendations.
