Default Would you come to a So. Cal MEGA MEET?

Poll to see interest.

Location: somewhere in OC, so we can have SD and LA people come...
Date: preliminary, but maybe sometime weekend early Feb. Maybe Feb. 7-9th?
Objective: Get as many 350Z's together as possible for some cool photo shooting, canyon runs, and a social (lunch or drinks, up to you).

Please post opinions or suggestions~~~

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=180157

SoCal-SERCA and SoCal-240SX clubs are holding an All Nissan meet on the 15th of Feb.

I'm in talks with some people over at B15Sentra.net in setting up a Nissan Convention.: http://www.altimas.net/forum/showthr...threadid=77064

Big events are being planned out for all Nissan/Infiniti owners.

Probably not. Will be busy planning for this meet. Maybe me and a couple locals will even "simulate" the meet and drive with like 2 or 3 z's... to prepare.

What do you guys think of 2/16/03 as our date? The 17th is a holiday, so I thought that would be nice to do it on a Sunday just before a holiday.

Sounds good Bullish... but I think the canyons tend to be more crowded on Holidays... with people traveling, etc. So if we do it on that date... definitely do an early drive.

February 16 sounds good. I've been to 3 meets/drives - PCH, Lake Hughes, Palomar - and no matter what or when, we will have traffic. Remember that just one slow car in our lane, would block our caravan. So I suggest that we pay our attention to our Z party, then arrange the drive accordingly.
I have already talked to my wife (to her amazement: What! A "Z" Party!!). Anyway, we will offer our house for the party. My suggestions & questions:
When: around 3-4 pm, so we can have a long party till whenever.
Drinks: I will get the utensils and soft drinks, and beer. If you want liquor, or wine, then BYOB.
Food: I don't cook. There are Costco, El Pollo Loco nearby. Or do you want pot luck.
Entertainment: Besides the Z talks, there is a billiard room and a karaoke system for your entertainment.

I placed a Z order on 1/14/02 and endured a long, long wait. At that time, I saw the pictures and the specs at the Nissan site (remember the 260+). Zcar.com and this site was my regular visits to be with others who are also waiting for the Z. Rumors and speculations were everywhere. It was fun. And then Jeff (Scafremon) gave us the first "spy" picture of the real thing. We then realized that the Z is for real. We now have received our Z, and it exceeded our expectations. And it gives us so much joy. So it's time for us to get together to celebrate the Z.
Eric, can you take it from here and do the poll, or whatever to get the party and the meet and the drive going.
Jeff, you have to be in this party so we can honor you.
Please give your input. This is your party.

Ha

Thank you SO much for being so generous with your home. You are too cool. I'm a fairly new member but just as avid of a fan of the z.
