Lightbulb Best Nissan Dealer for Z in SoCal?

Z owners,

Please throw your advise for the best Nissan Dealer and sales in SoCal (or online) to get a 350z. Best in terms of attitude, price and service. Let those of who want to get a Z in the nearest future have an idea where to go. Thank you.

I picked up someone's cancel order at MSRP from Torrance Nissan b/c they treated me very well. I originally went to Gardena Nissan and signed up for a Z. They promised me that they would call me but never did. Whatever happenes, do not go to Gardena Nissan. They will not treat you with professional attitude.

I agree, Torrance Nissan was excellent. Courtney Clark was my salesman. He's a straight shooter.

I got turned away from just about every Nissan dealer in Orange County, but Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa treated me right: I got to take the manager's Z out for a drive and I felt very comfortable. I ordered mine from Jesse James Johnson. I haven't got it yet (it'll be another 2 months or so ), but I do recommend them on the experience I've had so far.

For San Diego, Butch Peachy @ Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa comes highly recommended.

Default SD Nissan Dealers

Todd and Jake from Mossy El Cajon are awesome. The best car buying experience I've yet had.

Got mine from Torrence Nissan and had a great experience with them. My salesman was Percy Ward. Every step of my experience with them has been first rate. Everything from ordering, to keeping me up to date, throught delivery and follow up.

Even their Finance guy, Charlie Frank and Head service writer, Brett Lang. All extremely professional and great Customer Service.

And I am used to dealing with "Luxury" brand dealerships like Acuras and BMW. Whole heartedly recommend Torrance Nissan.

Got mine at Universal City Nissan. Didn't pre-order, didn't call, just went there, and left with a Z. They had lots of Z's on hand (10-15 of them I believe). I had to haggle with them to get a good trade-in on my mustang, and I ended up paying a small mark-up, but it was a small price to pay for my impulse buy of a 350Z. Other than that, they were ok. Not the MOST comfortable I've felt buying a car, but then again, I've never spent $35k on a car before either. Seriously though, they were pretty good.

Seriously, I think they're ok. I bought my 02 Altima there. Didn't get the price down a lot even on the new year eve (maybe just because I'm not good on talking deal... :-/.) The service manager is a very nice guy thought. I know they've a lot of Zs in stock. In fact, I went into their lot to check out the Zs (no sales with me) while my Alti was in service. Very nice car, don't know if they'll let me test drive it. Price wise, I don't know if they offer the best price. I heard Mission Hill, which is in a more remote location, can have a better bargain.

Nissan of Long Beach gave me an excellent experience but here's what I gauge it on:

I'm young.

Mossy gave me the shoulder, at both their El Cajon store and their Mira Mesa (don't know if that's exactly the location, but its just up the road off Balboa Ave). . . I went in, talked to people (pre-order time), gave salespeople my phone #, etc. Told them I was interested. And I was driving my Audi A4 at the time, not exactly a cheap ride...

When I went to Nissan of Long Beach they looked me in the eyes, told me what it would take, acted extremely interested in my business and made numerous efforts to keep me "in the loop" through the pre-order process. That's what I'm basing my response on, but its completely biased by my age. Their service department is pretty poor, I'm actually looking for a better service dept. to use in the future near LBC. But in terms of sales, I got the level of respect I think every customer deserves regardless of age at NofLong Beach.

Good luck!
