Hey.. you guys have to count me out of this one.............
I M soooooooooooooooooooooo my god sooooooooooooooooooo pissed off..
My car isnt going to be ready.. its been over a month since its been in M1 Autobody for stupid little Covertable fix.. i got the run around till now.. and finally i got down to it..

However it wont be ready till next week... damn it.

I will be going. I'm going to be leaving from Simi Valley around 11am.

 

I had my silverstone roadster there a few weeks ago. I think I saw your car there in the front parking lot. I had to take mine back twice to have them fix it, and it's going to DTM this saturday for a third try. What are they fixing for you?

you too?? my god.. I will never take it back to them.. i don’t know.. about DTM although its same owner but since David is there might be better off..

I was getting my Top fixed.. i back into closing garage door..
waited 2 weeks for the Insurance adjuster to come, that was fine because it was holiday and all..

after he has visited.. they were suppose to order the whole new roof. including the frame and material... i had to wait another 3 days or so to get my top in...

they had to send it out to a top shop because they never worked on the top before.. to make the long story short..

I thought they order a whole new top to get replaced.. NOT lets fix and straighten out the bent part..... I found out this today. I dropped my car @ December 13th.. its been more then a month and now they are saying that they will order new parts and fix everything for me...

now i have to wait another week or two to get my car back.. WOW.. they were trying to cheat me out of my new top. but fixing it instead of replacing it... It was some shade S*** they were trying to pull.. now i have to suffer through another week or two.

BTW what were they "trying" to fix for you?

 

I dont think anyone is going to meet up at Universal Nissan.. it was just me and my friend.. but if i dont go they are not going either.. so you might just meet rest of the people @ Santa Monica Vons.

 

but i dont know.. by some MIRACLE if my car is ready by friday.. I will still go.. let you guy know.

UPDATE... The Santa Monica meeting point will be at Virginia Ave Park on Cloverfield Ave and Pico Bl. NOT vons

so for those how are taking the 10w, just exit on cloverfield, make a left of the exit and drive for a few blocks untill you would see pico blvd

First off, PLEASE make sure to TOP OFF YOUR GAS before coming... it's going to be alot of driving. Time to buy breakfast will also be available along the way. *note: Krispy Kreme's is the second stop*

Itinerary:



Meet at the Irvine Spectrum south lot at 8:00a

Leave at approx. 8:15a

Meet at Krispi Kreme's in Cerritos at approx. 8:45a

Leave at approx. 9:00a

Meet at Fry's Electronics in the City of Industry at approx. 9:30a

Leave at approx. 9:45a

Meet at Virginia Avenue Park in Santa Monica at approx. 10:30a

Leave at approx. 10:45a

Arrive in Oxnard at approx. 12:00p-12:30p




Simple rules,



We drive convoy style, taking up only one lane, unless passing for photos/videos.

No excessive speeding. (over 85) If you get rolled, no one's stopping for you.

Running lights on while with the group to identify you as such.

No racing/erratic lane changes (again one lane unless passing slow traffic)

radios and cell phones are encouraged, as well as cameras and camcorders, however... please use them in a safe manner. Preferably used by a passenger.

and last but not least lets make it a fun run. and drive courteosly. Let others in, and don't cut people off.

7. Make a U-turn at 186TH ST onto GRIDLEY RD

2. Turn R on SOUTH ST
3. Take ramp onto I-605

so sorry guys for the confusion..but the Santa Monica meet spot will be moved from the vons to Virginia Park. It was moved so it can actually house 75+cars.

wow i didnt notice this thread. i might go depending if i wake up on time (might go drinking saturday night). ill be at the City of Industry location since im just a few mins away from there.
