Meet For LA people, thurs nights every week 9pm
meet every thurs night start 9pm
I just wanted to let you guys know of a meet that happens every thursday night in Northridge at the corner of Plummer and Corbin.
To get there, use http://maps.yahoo.com
It is often called the Flames meet, cause the restaurant that we g2g in front of it called Flames. There are all sorts of cars that show up. Tonight was Dodge Viper, Mustang Cobra, a few hondas, Many wrx's go, a few rsx's, some s2k's a few porsches, some bimmas and what not. I can't even list everything that shows up. Easily 30-50 cars on a night.
People come from all over. From cities like West LA, North Hollywood, torrance, San Gabriel, so it's worht coming out. You get to see many different kinds of cars, and it would be nice to see some 350z's out there.
BTW this is a meet where people would like you to not do burn outs, donuts, bump loud music, rev engines etc. The cops do show up, but don't let that scare you away cause they don't do anything. This meet is legally allowed to be there by the owner of Flames cafe. Today, they showed up, mingled with the natives a bit, checked a couple kids id's and then left.

I was there with my 350Z about 2 weeks ago. Definitely a lot of nice rides. A whole lot of nicely tuned Z32's but I was the only Z33 -- It'd be nice to have some more siblings there!

Who need school All school teaches you to do is be afraid of making mistakes. How do you learn? you make mistakes. Thats how. Have you ever heard of anyone learning to ride a bike with out falling down? J/k... but you do need school for learning somethings. It does help... a little. . I have a college degree 2 btw...

How much are your monthly payments?
Do you pay for insurance?
Between 1999 and 2002, the stock market fell 20% or there abouts. Which stocks did your parents buy? pay capital gains tax??
And paying for 3/4 of that car is good enough for me...
and in terms of this
man i cant wait to be paying my bills, going to the grocery, dealing with my apartment, and all the other stuff!(hint of sarcasm )
Anywho, not flamin just wanna know more details and how.. and you can come out and stay til 10/10:30 ish and then bail if you need to.

I think you probably saw RobertL.
and yeah, it's far - even for me (I"m already in beginning of the SF VAlley), it is still 18 miles away. I'm a working stiff - gotta relax after work and get up early in the morn.

I think you'll find many Z owners don't care much to see the other cars that show up at Flames. We're too happy with our own cars.
Come to our next meet at SF Valley meet at Neptune's Net in Oxnard. If there is interest, we might even do it before the OC Mega Meet. I'd bet there would be at least a half-dozen Zs that show.

haha.. I've been there a couple of times. I think two weeks ago when I didn't go my buddy told me a few Z33 showed up. I'm going tonight. Hopefully there will some Z33's out there. Last week a Black Z33 ran against one of his buddies. Should come and check it out. Would be nice to see some others out there. Always end up being parked between WRX's and tricked out Civics.... yuck.....
