My friend worked at autobacs and several police departments would come in and hold classes on aftermarket parts. So they def. know what they're talking about. I never take my car on main.. Coming up from PCH they always sit at that first stop sign.

Hey Rickdogg, just wanna say what's up. I've seen your car in this site and I wanted to compliment you on a sweet looking ride and a job well done. I've just finished reading your post about being pulled over, and I was compelled to write you. I'm a CHP Officer in the SF Bay Area and I do the exact same thing. When the driver is cool and honest, I most likely let him/her go, especially if there is a common interest, mainly cars and mods.
Many people think, mostly the young "know-it-all", that we like to mess with "tricked out cars". They don't realize that it's what they do in their tricked out cars that compells cops to take action. I, for one don't live in a glass house so I will never preach, but people need to realize that they need to take responsibility for their actions.
I often read a posts with a title of, "I got pulled over for this...." and "I got pulled over for that......", but they always down play what it was that they did to get pulled over. Most of the people here will say that it's BS that they got pulled over. I guess they don't understand that most of what cops do is from public outcry. If the public want action against street racers, then we get a DIRECTIVE to concentrate on street racers. Same goes for sideshows, red light runners, burglers, robbers, etc.
When I read your posts, you seem to have a mature, and responsible view on issues, and your last post was no different. You didn't deny what you have or try to "BuII$h!t" your way out of things. In fact, you did what I would've done, which was joke with the officers. You never forgot that "Law Enforcement Officers" are people too, and maybe, just maybe, share the same interest.
On that note, keep us tuned in on your car and mods, cuz I sure do like it!!

haha maaan I was on Beach and Edinger this 1 night crossing under the 405 bridge (if your familiar with the area) and there was an unmarked cop car which was infront of me which I didnt notice at the time and I hit the gas and let the wastegates scream. I stopped when I noticed him right away and then sounded off my blow off (just to screw with him). He hit his brakes and I let off also and made a sharp into the jack in the box right after. haha ive ran from the cops 2ce in HB and got away both times. lol dude it sounds like theres a few of us in HB. lets do a meet at the chillies or CPK @ that new place... on beach
