I got 23% titanium and I love it. Honestly I didn't even plan on getting titanium, just regular graphite until I came down to the shop and saw the owner's 7 series BMW with the tint.

Your best bet is to roll on by and park up next to the other "customer" or "worker/owners" cars and see what you like in contrast to the Lemans. You might make a choice based on that.

It's hard to see how different tints are in pictures because the shade fluxes depending on angles, lighting and time of day.

+1 on California Tint in Rosemead. I also got the titanium tint (33% if I remember correctly) and have been very pleased with the results. Like the others said, it's guaranteed for life and they'll fix problems if they arise. They've done tons of Z's there as well as G's.

Yo Ed...You need to head over to Alameda Swapmeet! There's tons of bozo's to choose from right on the parking lot with tint in their back pocket for quick install!

......jokes aside I like the Lemans without tint! If you do tint make it no darker than 20%. You want the tint to flow with the look of the flashy Lemans. Try the black 35% or 33% Plat for a nice black/chromey look! See you on Sat. and good luck!

+2 on that.

I was in the Pasadena area and stopped by California Tint to see how much it would cost to tint our other car. Excellent worksmanship. And no sales pressure (other shops I had visited wanted me to upgrade to their super delux films for extra $). And it cost about 1/2 the price I was quoted in San Diego.

Take it back and let them know.
With sooo many customers who have gone there from just word of mouth, I'm sure they'll fix it.

+1 They stand behind their product. I think they know it's best for them to replace a faulty job when so many people know about them. I wouldn't hesitate in going back and letting them know about the problem.

p.s. Hey Zephyr, how's that SS doing?

I was wondering if the 35% would be good with my car. I want something not too dark but also something that will match the Lemans. Also keep in mind I have the Burnt Orange interior also....Any ideas

I think that lighter tint gives a car a 'classier' look. Darker tint will make it look 'meaner', which is fine if that's what you're looking for but it will also get you a ticket much quicker. For Lemans though, I might go with something darker especially if you have overlays on your head and tail lights.
