Exclamation I did a 360 on the 10 Freeway last night.

Scariest experience ever.
I hit a puddle on the far right lane and lost it, spun inward & ended up driving on the far left lane...unscathed!

+1 I proved this weekend at the race track that the VDC works. I pushed the car to hard through the S-turn and ended up doing a 360+ and ended in the sand run offs. With the VDC on it saved me each time.

I saw a mustang do the same thing about a year ago, going E. on the 10, near the 710 transfer, it was crazy, he did a 360 at around 4:30pm in rush hour traffic and drove off unscathed!

Glad your ok man! That is scary chit.

On my drive here from North Carolina I had the same experience. It was literally raining cats and dogs. I had 2 huge trailers infront of me and I was going about 60 and I got cought in all the wash. Next thing I know I can see the cars behind me. Then I spun again and was in the median heading for the oncomeing traffic. Luckly and I mean luckly I stopped right before I entered the oncoming traffic. Should have scene the mud that flew all over the places. I was so lucky I didn't flip or end up hitting something. I will tell you what this car is made to stay on the ground. I remember when I was going backwards and I swurved the car felt so stable.

I wish this upon know one. Its a scary feeling. Life is short hope you take it easy when the roads are wet. Its just not worth it.

i spun a mazda mpv on sunset up in pacific palisades driving like 70 through canyons. didn't hit anything. after that i had a corvette that i drove with active handling off all the time and i never spun it, although i would throw the tail out pretty often (even with active handling on - its not as restrictive as nissan's) i could always catch it, and i never hit anything in the vette. Then recently i added a mrev+ to my g35 and the next day, driving with vdc off i lost the tail on an onramp and bounced off the guard rail. I mighthave caught if i had more space. anyway, i had to repaint the rear bumper but now its all good, and vdc is permanently on. I think it's weird that i did that in the G since i was used to driving the rwd vette without traction, and the vette has soooooooooooo much more torque. i attribute it to the mrev. b/c it added a lot of torque, and it was only my 2nd day with it, so i wasn't expecting the car to have that much torque.

Thanks for the comments. I am happy I lucked out...it could have ended VERY bad.

I was going under 50mph, getting ready to pull to my exit. I hit a puddle and that's where it all went bad. My car started swerving left to right and quickly cut inward toward the freeway, spun around & ended on the far left lane....driving normal.
I remember seeing the headlights of the cars behind me beaming right into my face as I spun. I also remember the freeway wall coming closer and closer...I really thought I was done for. I pray no one experiences something like this again.

Oh, I was going westbound on the 10 approaching New Ave.

^^ that's almost the same situationed that happened to me on the Halloween Day on 60 E Fwy of this year. Except i ran over a black/wet looking surface which could be an oil or something else (going around 70mph when it happened) I was able to control the car for about 10+ yards going sideways and my rear-end took about a good 1/4 of the carpool lane then i went 360. I was really lucky IMO becuase it was rush-hour and i got out of it without a single scratch. Damn..it was my '06 350z first month anniversary when it happened lol (bought it Sept.30th)
