I bought these in dark metal but they come in bronze also. 18" Racing hart CP-S10's. I wonder if I should have gone with bronze? With so much lip going on these days its nice to see some concave every once in awhile

Just checked all 2006 SCCA rules via PDF search. No mention of the word HRE anywhere.

Im speaking from experience with friends here. Ive known several people/friends here in tristate NY Metro area with HREs and a whole lot of friends with Volks. Ive personally found more comomonly bent HRE rim than a RAYS wheel. Now this is an area that'll test the tolerance of a rim, I dont think any road in the country could compare to our NYC POS roads. Guys that have volk stand by them for their strength. Volk owners will tell you why they stand by their wheels. If anyone wants to flame me about not being able to afford HRE, check out the price for a black Lexion 203, $980/rim without tire. Thats nearly 4k without tires, wheel and tire package Toyo's, about 5K. . .thats right in HRE neighborhood.

I mean RAYS isnt paying me to say this or anything. RAYS doesnt just produce Volk Racing wheels, they produce many other wheels including nearly all high performance OEM wheels for Mazda (Mazdaspeed), Mitsubishi(Ralliart), Toyota (TRD), Nissan(NISMO), and even some Honda wheels. Subaru uses BBS, the only other wheel I believe is as good. Why would an OEM manufacturer trust an aftermarket company to build high performance wheels for them? Simple, they know and trust the quality of the company. Why do JGTC cars use RAYS wheels, do you see any JGTC car with an HRE logo/rim on it, NEVER, never has and never will.

Guys dont kill me over this, to HRE owners props to you, I mean this car thing is all about personality and expression, if HRE's float your boat, then more power to you, not to mention bling factor, Ill admit that.

Plain and simply put if you havent figured it out by now, I personally feel RAYS makes a better rim than HRE.

Umm. . . read this too. On another note, yes SCCA will soon follow.

It wasnt direct towards you bro, just mostly an FYI and to those who wanted to get crazy about it. I never meant to spark a whole contraversial topic, this is just what Ive read/seen/experienced. And the supra will return, its just a matter of time, Im a huge supra fan, I owned one before my Z, they're great cars. The Supra returning could only be a good thing. Supposedly Toyota will have some type of concept ready for NYIAS, I go every year, hopefully they do. Its logical for the Supra to return, Im sure Toyota sees the market for a value priced true sports car in the 30-40K range. Our Z has been on the top 3 sports cars sold lists in the past three years, they want their slice of the cake. Will this new Supra live up the venerable monster MK4, no but Lexus LFA will. The 350Z doesnt have as potent an engine from the factory as the 300ZX VG30DETT, nor will the next Supra's motor be as crazy as the awesome 2JZGTE, those engines were from an era that I believe we will see again in the not too distant future(about 7-10 years, the primary focus now is keeping the cars affordable). A 3.5 V6 wouldnt be surprising, Im sure a lot of people have noticed Toyota/Lexus using their 3.5 in many of their cars. Hmm, I wonder who started that. . . it saves money and gives great performance.
