Default Worst FWY for speeding in Greater LA area?

What freeways (or even local streets?) have you guys been pinched for speeding on?
Around what time of day was it and how did you get caught (laser/radar/pacing)?

Thought we might be able to compile a list so people know where to watch out.

Personally I've never been caught speeding in 9 years, although I'm sure it's only a matter of time... especially with this car.

I'll start with my coworker, he just recently got a ticket for 85 in a 65, 405 FWY North near Wilshire around 10AM. He got paced.

Co-worker got cited twice (two different days) on the 10 FWY in West Covina near the W. Covina mall doing 85 on a 65 at 5:00-5:30 a.m.

HWY 110 north or southboud at 105. There is a bus stop right under 105 and I've seen CHP hiding with radar there many times.

Hey that's good to know, I drive by there pretty often. I haven't had a speeding ticket in about 10 years as well although i've been driving for about 17 years or so. I do speed everyday but i'm constantly scanning for chps. I should invest in a detector...it would make my driving a lot funner.

I drove to UCLA in my Z for the first time since I borrowed a parking pass (from OC), and I drove like a grandma since I was sure there were cops everywhere. 9pm on a Sunday.

I-5 thru Valnecia and out to Castaic is heavily patrolled with bikes and cars, radar and pacing.

Sierra hwy. from Canyon Country to Palmdale. Mostly radar. They're pulling people over for doing 60+ in a 55 zone. Two car tag teams. I've seen the same guys enough times that I feel I know them personally. I got pulled over once for tint, but the guy let me off.

O SNAP!

I drive on the 2N by the 210 all the time, going to my dad's place in La Canada!

I see people doing 90+ since it's uphill and feels pretty safe... still never seen a cop there but I usually keep it under 80

I just drive smart, I drive a little slower than other people nearby so the cop will see them first and not me. Sometimes that means 85. Sometimes that means 65.

I'm actually worried I'm gonna get pulled over on a major city street one of these days. It's too easy to do 55 around certain streets in LA without even thinking about it (Sunset, Beverly Glen, etc)

You guys, can you please post whether you got caught with a

RADAR, LASER, or simply just getting PACED?

I was wondering whether it is worth investing in a detector (but that won't help if they pace you)!

Radar detector helps you not hurt you. But you can't rely 100% on the detector. I have V1 which has saved me numerous times but still, I got pulled over by CHP who was not using radar. Watch out for those CHPs entering the FWY.

That's the "Z" flag that Datsun people used when they were designing the original Fairlady Z.

I try to stay out of the faster lanes and makes sure lots of cars are going relatively the same speed I am. In addition, I make sure there is always a few speeders ahead of me.

Not much leeway to speed in LA. I haven't even gotten pulled over in 7 years and now, I've been pulled over about 9 times and: 3 traffic tickets and 3 no front plate tickets in a year and a half that I owned a z. My driving habbit is pretty much the same. It clearly shows that pigs are out to get sports cars. I hate PIGS!
