Did Performance Nissan screw up my oil change?
i've been having my servce done at performance nissan for almost a year now. Overall they have been great to me. Here is a question though...
I have recieved a letter from Castrol. They thank me for using my products and gave me an $8 rebate for the castol syn blend that was used. the letter states that I should present it to performance nissan so that they take $8 off the next oil change. here is the deal....I ALWAYS BRING MY OWN OIL and use only MOTUL or ROYAL PURPLE!!...
what the heck?

Taste it to see if it taste like Motul? or if it taste like Castrol Either way, I'm a Castrol fan and can tell you that your engine is in good hands regardless of the oil that was put, so I wouldn't worry

Dont worry, if you are providing your own oil you should not be getting charged. When your information is entered on an RO, it automatically takes that info and send the coupons to the customers. Even I get those coupons every month!
