Im picking up my new Z in a few days and first thing next to my suspension and rims is the exhaust. Im looking for a variety of people with aftermarket exhausts in the LA area willing to meet up so i can get a first person impression. Im particularly interested in the Stillin, HKS, G200, and Nismo. Best way to check out stuff first hand is at meets. There's one today in Cerritos and Thursdays in Chino Hills...Everyone is welcome, well almost everyone. Check the Socal threads for more details.

Problem is most meets are REALLY out of the way for me. I live in Marina Del Rey, so like a 30 min drive is ok by me, but more than that and its a waste of gas.

the videos on here if u search for exhausts is a great help too.

 

They honestly dont give you the foggiest idea of what a certain exhaust sounds like. Differences in the recording equipment, distance from the car, etc all change the way a car sounds. Only way to really hear the exhaust is in person.

 

I'm suppose to get my Amuse Ti this Friday. Maybe after I install it, I'll PM you. Can't wait

 

I'm going to install my HKS dual ti soon. I don't think I've seen one amongst the SoCal crew. I'll make it to the next weekend meet. Hey nightkid.. would like to hear that amuse..

I have HKS dual (ti) Hi power and i'm in La quite often you can hit me up when i get my car back and you can hear it.

 

HKS ive heard, good friend has one. Wouldnt mind hearing it w.o headers and hi-flow cats, but its the other than im really interested in hearing first hand.

Problem is i work on Thursday night and im in class on Wednesday nights, so i dont have too many choices. Maybe during my finals week in 2 weeks, considering ill be done with everything on wednesday afternoon that might work.
