Default Jdm Craze Gone Bad ??!!

I just went to get my car serviced at Performance Nissan in Duarte today to get a recall of some fuel hose replaced and my oil change why not kill 2 birds with one stone. I have never had any issue with Performance Nissan @ all ive even gotten past oil changes in the past and i even bought some parts like my Nismo catback from them, great service, and i have never had a problem with them at all. Today they closed at 7 pm and i was a little late but as i was driving home i noticed i had this rare "beginning driver decal" which is really hard to get, i purchased it in Japan and ive never seen anyone sport it here, well it was GONE off my windshield i understand if they washed my car or if it was peeling off but my car wasnt washed still had my dirty window and egg-like yolk stain on my front.... but how low would anyone go just to steal a sticker, its not even the price or rarity its just the principle. you figure when you go to these dealerships your car is safe, but i didnt know people are rumagging through my crap. im going to call Tim who is the assist. manager there who helped me tommorow i tried calling but they were closed i left a verbal message and ill follow up tommorow. im not **** its just the point is i think its pretty low for anyone to steal a sticker and the last place is at a dealership, just dont feel safe now anywhere i guess... i guess this JDM CRAZE has gotten too overboard.. not trying to make enemies its just hey thats not cool yo,... but yeah here are the pics i added 2 more stickers after the first pic for a total of 3 not 2 cause ima "jdm" ***** like that

way before.....

after well today

Had to check my car just now as coincidentally I took mine in today for the fuel hose recall as well. I took mine in to Cerritos Nissan. Doesn't like anything was taken including the Nismo extended lugs still in their packages in the trunk that have been sitting there for a couple of months.

Regardless of what people say about their buying/shopping experience at Cerritos Nissan, I have taken in my car for service/warranty work on several occasions and have received great service...more often than not service guys ask about my car or compliment it. Today the young guy driving it to me offered to have it washed for me if I wanted to wait and commented about how mine was the funnest 350Z he has driven in a long while and how most people lately have modded their cars with bling SUV wheels. Sorry but there was another Z that was being returned that had big chrome wheels that looked like they belonged on an impala cruising the hood. LOL

Hmmm... I took my BWM 740iL to the BMW dealer and when I got it back the electrical motor of the driver window was not working anymore. On further examination, I found out that it was replaced with a broken one. I was so p!ssed off, especially since I got a 2K maintenance bill. The manager of the dealership told me, without even thinking, that it must of "broken" while the car was in the shop. Man, was I whitehot.... my wife had to stop me from going to ask again, gun visible in it's holster this time...

i took my rx8 in for service.. and an oil change.. and they stole my rotary keychain ($30, but as stated, its not the price, its the principle) it was a keychain with a spinning rotar inside.. so i went to the manager, and i said QUOTE i am in a rush, i just got my car out of service, everything is fixed, so thanks. but one of your bull**** service people stole my ****kking keychain and i want it back right ****iiing now QUOTE.. he apologized and went to the service dept area.. and surely, he came back with my keychain.. damn idiots..

also, took my friends 2006 G35 in for an oil change.. she had a custom license plate frame, all chrome and what not.. when she got the car back, they had taken off the custom chrome frame and replaced it with ugly plastic dealership frames.. wtf? if i wanted those damn ugly ones i wouldnt have changed them in the first place..

now i stand near the service department when people work on my car.. shiiiit, last year i took my pathfinder in for an oil change, they changed the oil, but no tthe filter, but they said they did.. funny, i saw with my own 2 eyes that no one changed it

i hate stupid people.

end rant.

Boneout - Im sorry to hear what happened. I wouldnt know anyone petty enough at our dealer to steal a used sticker. Please get in contact with me at your earliest convenience, we have camera's, literally, everywhere that I have access to. All I need from you is a time and date of when you came and we can try to track to see what exactly happened while your car was being serviced here. Also, who was your service writer? If it wasnt, make sure you go to Tim. Give me a call or a PM, 626-739-1922. I will also be in the office tomorrow, Saturday April 22nd.

Not a problem. It may not be that big of deal but it was a big enough problem for you to post this thread and our customers should not be treated this way. Give me a call and Ill look into the cameras.

not say it happens all the time but imo its not to be unexpected when stuff goes missing from your car when you take it into the dealership, mechanic, car wash, etc. Personally I make sure to remove anything i remotely care about from the car before bringing it in. One thing that seems to be popular with the "thieves"... loose change in your coin tray.
