Default varis air duct installed

i ended up installing it on my nismo bumper. i got fiber stuck all over me from the dremel. anyways installation was ok but i had to widen the holes on the air duct because the screws were a bit big for the hole

That air duct compliments what you've done with the bumper. Great job!

Hey gimpy, thanks for picking up and holding on the duct for me. I finally had time today to look over it. The quality is simply awesome on this part, even my co-workers were drooling over this piece.

I'll put it in this weekend. Hopefully cutting my bumper will be easier than what you had to go through (since yours is fiberglass and mine is polyurethane).

btw, I have already modeled it on PreE... hopefully this can turn into something......

go ahead and take out the screws varis provided and buy some Nylock nuts; essentially nylon bushings that captive at the end of the nut and prevents the nut from backing out. Provides additional friction on the threads. And, of course, buy the correct screw.

This way if someone tried to unscrew it won't come off, need to clamp on the other side.

I don't like the look, in addition I'm not sure if that is even enough to be effective.
I'd like to see a before and after dyno.

Not Hating....just not my style

Dont understand how it wont be effective. It will get cooler air to the intake, and then after a certain speed, i'm sure you must almost get a ram air effect going on a bit. I think its cool!
