WHEN: Saturday, June 10th
WHERE: Malibu Colony Plaza on PCH
23841 W. Malibu Rd. Malibu CA. 90265
Park by the street in the Subway/Blockbuster section
google map: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=23841+...5779&t=k&hl=en
TIME: 9:00a.m.
leave for the drive around 9:30-10:00
We can make a few stops on the way and then get some lunch afterwards.
INVITE: Everyone is welcome as long as they drive a 350Z
THINGS TO BRING: Two-way radios/walkie talkies, water, camera, AAA cards for anyone in need.
THINGS TO CHECK: tire pressure, oil, arrive with gas
Note: Safety first. Please be aware of your other Z drivers along with the other motorists that share the road. This is not a race, so no crossing of the double yellow or any type of erratic driving. The general rule of thumb is faster people up front and people who want to cruise near the back. Drive at your own pace and try not to be pressured into driving over your limits. If someone is on your ***, or you feel that you're holding them back, just let them pass when it's safe. Or move back in the pack during a stop.
I'd prefer no discussion of routes on the thread. I'll pick a good assortment of roads, so no worries. I'll lead the first leg and try to keep a good pace, but if someone else wants to lead after the first stop, that's fine.

I don't wish to sound elitist or anything by just allowing Zs, but I've never done a canyon drive with solely 350Zs, so that's something I'd wish to experience.
The drive would have been sooner, but in a previous thread we decided on the 10th.
I'll be out of town for a few days, so hopefully I'll return to see this thread with some activity.

Please, no more advertising of that other event on here
The run should take about 90 min to two hours tops. So if we leave as scheduled, we should be done around 11:00-11:30 including a quick stop or two along the way. They're located in L.A., so it should take about 30 min or less to get there. If you guys RSVP and schedule appropriately, everything should work out just fine. We can then caravan down there together and arrive promptly at 12:00.
Or if you like, you guys can leave early. All I ask is that you guys at least go to the first part of the run.
When the OGs on here use to set up runs, they would normally have good showings. It would be nice if we could follow suit.

We don't post routes, so posting doesn't cause any harm. Week nights is good as is going with friends, but posting on a forum allows us to specifically to get a 350z group together.

Over the last few months, I've done runs with the bmw guys, porsches and just did a s2ki run yesterday (specifically, the s2ki san diego group). All these drives have been set up over the internet, and they have had zero problems with the cops. Even if there happens to be a cop at the meeting spot, they certainly are not going to follow us on the drive.
If you don't wish to show up, that's fine, but no need to scare anyone else away. We're just looking to enjoy a drive on a nice sunday morning.

For all those interested in the dyno run, the first dyno will be starting at 12:00, so we should arrive in plenty of time.
I can't edit the first post, but we leave at 9:30 sharp.
I would actually prefer leaving a little earlier to help with traffic and what not, but it's up to you guys.
