Everyone should go and sign this so we can get rid of the front license plate law here in California. Pass it to any one you know in Cali.

 

Ain't gonna happen while they have red light cameras.

 

We should start a petition for the abolishment of speed limits too. While I don't have a plate on the front of my car, I do recognize why they are there.

And just like speeding...I do it even though it's illegal.

A good idea would be to stop running red lights. It really is just that simple.

there will be more red light cameras hence front license plate laws will be even more enforced.

There are about a 100 stupid laws like "visual inspection" on the CARB regs that have nothing to do with emissions that need to be fought very hard.
Those are needed to get petitions...

just put the damn plate on, it doesn't look that ugly

 

can we get rid of smog laws too, its impossible for most people to afford maintenance and the car payments. Plus sometimes its hard to afford racing and tickets and remaintenance of the car.

Nearly 16,000 signatures. What should happen now, for this to really work, is get all those on paper. A REAL petition. Then send it to your Congressmen IN PERSON. Make an appointment. Maybe get everyone to include a $100 bill too.

 

What's the argument to get rid of the front plates? I'm sure that my car is not pretty enough, or I'm too lazy to mount the plate won't fly.

What this petition is is a waste of our tax payers money....fight something real for ceying out loud

 

Hey I was just tryingf to help. Personally I have my plate mounted in a *****'n spot. So I'm fine.

And this is what America is all about man! The right to complain about anything!

And it's not wasting any tax payers money. It's just a free online petition at the moment.

Well the front plate law is ridiculous. The cameras from what I have been told take a picture from the back of the car as it goes through the intersection so why do you need a front plate??? There really is no need for a front plate...be serious we all know this, it is just one more thing for the cops to harass people about.
